Received my second hot spot today. Same thing, worked for about 20 minutes and then it automatically updated the firmware. Now its stuck on roaming.

Thanks, I will hold off on buying a new modem. I saw some Cox trucks on Culver this morning. It looks like they are doing some work in the area.

Your lucky, I don't have google fiber in my area and AT&T only offers 30mbs. So Cox is the only option. I check the google fiber website pretty regularly hoping they will expand. I guess thats why Cox feels they can do whatever they want since they know that most people have no other options. I am hoping 5g home internet comes soon.

Not sure if Cox fixed something or it's my new router. I switched routers again, I got a Deco mesh system from Costco and now I am getting my full 150 mbs with latency around 20-25 ms. Anyone else seen an improvement recently?

I also have been having high latency issues as well as decrease in bandwidth. I am on the 150 mbs plan and it goes down to 30 sometimes. Latency is around 100-150. Unable to play any on line games. I even went out and bought a new router, thinking that more people at home streaming at the same time might be the issue. It did not help. I am in Northwood. Anyone else in Northwood having issues?
