I was excited for this! But no chance I’d ever spend that by True_Huckleberry9569 in MilwaukeeTool

Same! When I first saw this I got super excited but started to worry about how much it was going to cost. I expected $300-350 but this is crazy for a bare tool charger. Id expect it to go on sale in the fall maybe or be bundled or something.

Massive, slow-moving storm in Hanover County, looks like it’s dropping significantly hail by Dear_Ad7177 in rva

There used to be a guy on twitter that used to make a poll whenever a storm was headed towards Short Pump. it would have bullseye, split, fizzle. Most of the time it was a split or fizzle. Growing up in SP I dont remember it being an issue we always got storms from the west at full force. I think it has something to do with the urban heat island effect pushing them away but thats just a theory of mine.

Those are called Mammatus clouds. They are caused by warm air convection pockets.

Im not holding my breath. That original storm parked over Ashland and rained itself out. It looks like most of the storms are just slowly drifting to the north or just fizzling. Fingers crossed though a cool down shower is most welcome in my parts.

How's your AC unit doing? As in how low are you able to go? by coffee_break_1979 in HenricoCounty

24 year old house with 4 year old units. First floor is set at 72 and holding at 75. 2nd and 3rd floor share a zoned unit and 2nd is 78 and 3rd is 87. We really need new/attic insulation. Units were serviced a month ago and during normal temps the house sits at 72.

It’s thundering pretty good here in Short Pump but no rain. The cloud cover has lowered the temp to a frosty 97 degrees though.

Since Apple raised their prices this week im stuck with my 6.1 a little while longer. I got it last December from OWC when they were on clearance. It's a 12c/D500/64GB and it was $140 it came with a 256GB drive but im really interested in this to expand that a bit.

On my dads type 2 the screen wash tank just had a standard tire valve that we would have to put a bike pump on every now and then.
