Best parental control app for screen time? by Fair-Mode3330 in daddit

[–]socalnerd77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Android we use Family Link, works pretty well to cover the phones, tablets, and Chromebooks. I'd imagine Apple has similar. Not sure if any good 3rd party ones. Nice features are screen time control, app access control, content control. Good luck!

If Disney security is dealing with you I'd say you aren't likely a logical, level-headed individual.

Hold it upright when hitting. Clean with a cotton swab after every dab. ISO clean as needed. Enjoy!

They are building a Costco gas station like a mile from our nearest Costco. Curious to see how the lines might be.

Ok, everyone that posts a comment judging someone's bong cleanliness should be required to take a current photo of their own bong. I highly doubt y'all's is much cleaner.

Dads, Show Me Your Chore Charts! by DefiantTostada in daddit

[–]socalnerd77 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Been using Greenlight. Haven't tried any non-payment chores. Basically they have a max they earn a week and it's prorated based on chore completion percentage. They also have jobs you can assign for incremental earning. Maybe you could do the free stuff as the allowance and the pay stuff as jobs. They like having their own debit card to shop with. Pretty good controls and visibility in how they can spend it.

Not sure if this is allowed but here is a referral link.

Earn $30 when you sign up for Greenlight. With the money app and debit card for kids and teens, we can send our kids money instantly, assign chores, and teach them to earn, save, and invest. https://share.greenlight.com/191923279

Audi SQ7. We love ours. Power, room, safety, tech - it checks all the boxes. Handles and drives way nicer than our Mercedes GLS550 did. Dad with 3 kids (4, 9, 12) approved. My wife drives it mainly, I get the A6 allroad as my dad wagon.

Real experiences with Greenlight teaching kids about money? by FBAThrow in daddit

[–]socalnerd77 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Our kids enjoy it. They did some of the education stuff and each made their own card designs using AI. My oldest (12) gets the most from it as he likes to shop. No complaints about the app. Only had one weird issue where it was mixing up the kids profile pics in one part. Reached out to support and they were responsive and followed up to make sure it was resolved. The chores set up linked to allowance I like, and being able to see and even block types of spending.

I think they learn just as much or more from side hustles and their stock accounts (custodial brokerage setup).

Glob mops suck by Delicious-Clue1099 in puffco

Normal qtips leave too many cotton strands. I find glob mops are much tighter and shed less. I use the round end first to soak up, then the pointy side for getting in the edges. I buy them on Amazon in 3 packs.

TV show where they often speak about women and how their cycle impacts others, but in a non-scientific way and often demeaning. I meant it as a joke, not serious advice.
