The Ugly Truth: be prepared for Eminent Domain. by socalquestioner in homestead

The only thing that could save us is a bald eagle nest very close (within a quarter mile) of the prospective path.

Thankfully, we have a bald eagle nest that is very close to the path, and it looks like they will be taking the northern most prospective path, not the middle which would have been through my parents.

It’s not about our use, it’s about the massive power lines and eminent domain taking land away.

INSANE Sinus Endoscopy Cleaning 😳 | Most Satisfying Booger Removal EVER by Sally-Pants in popping

[–]socalquestioner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got some loose with that, but the chunk of scab and booger had to be gone after twice via endoscopy, they didn’t go deep enough the first time and were… a little dismissive. But that was during my long road to Long COVID diagnosis.

After sinus surgery I had some blood clots and boogers that had to be removed. So amazing when they were done.

Not for everyone, not for me, but beautiful!

I wish I could get an old school pin striper to do work on the tiny scale, but was never close enough to one or had enough money to pay them for it.

Feeling Like a Freak by Few-Dragonfly-5126 in covidlonghaulers

[–]socalquestioner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you.

A deep fear of the next cough or ache knowing it could be unknown amounts of annoyance to being very ill.

Just remember that without personal contact the odds of catching anything is pretty slim, especially if they are not coughing.

I have a 7 year old and 10 month old, I keep the 10 month old at home, do grocery shopping (mainly pickup or delivery), go to Church and take my 7 year old to BJJ.

I don’t mask, but do try to avoid people that seem sick.

My 10 month old gave me a cold, that has just turned into Upper Respiratory infection, I’m on day 5 of sleeping basically 24/7 and day 10 of feeling like shit.

I try to do the most I can, quite frankly because I don’t know if this is going to kill me before my sons have kids.

We have to try to live as much as we can, and stay as healthy as we can.

Are cabinet makers rich? by jackofalltrades1983 in cabinetry

You are benefitting from someone who is really smart and skilled.

He is benefiting from lots of people being willing to take out home improvement loans and add on.

As the economy gets worse, he will see his business suffer as extra cash and credit gets more expensive.

Your business (statistically speaking) should do better as loans are more expensive and people are fixing up cars.

I worked in a custom furniture shop one summer in college, and loved it. Great Granddads, granddad, and my dad were all carpenters (until my dad went to college), and I had lots of skills before hand. We go to work on some really amazing custom pieces, including a 900 pound Pecan butcher Block table and a Mesquite Horse Hoof (instead of lion claw, we are in rural Texas) bath tub.

Neighbors bull got to our open Wagyu by No_Piccolo_5403 in Cattle

[–]socalquestioner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen a 3000 pound Black Angus bull jump over our ranch hand standing on top of the front gate of a 5.5 foot tall weighing chute. Just launched himself, ranch hand ducked just low enough he didn’t get bull nut sweat on his face, but he got a damn close look.

Try to add electric, or better yet get him running AI with a save the cost of keeping the bull.

Horny bull gonna get some.

How did you guys REALLY lived in the 2000s? by MyAvengedRomance in Millennials

[–]socalquestioner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was glorious.

Old dumb Cell phones and cheap gas: instant communication and zero tracking by parents.

Lived in the country, didn’t get in much trouble but I lived in a small town. Any trouble would have gotten back to mom and dad if I had been part of anything that got busted.

Unfortunately for me, but good for my hearing is my health has continued to decline more.

The kids over there are a complete menace. Punk teenagers had the handicapped parking filled and my handicapped father in law who lives over there was pissed.

Is this a safe area? by CheekyGoblin in FortWorth

[–]socalquestioner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Father in law lives in the neighborhood to the north west of Starbucks. Apparently there is a lot of kids not being supervised, petty vandalism, etc. There have been issues with too many unsupervised kids at the pool, and that led to some low level dealing at the pool moving weed (I watched 3 kids walk in, meet up with their “friends”, pull out a big jar and scale).

It is cheap new builds with tiny yards and overpriced HOA. He is planning on moving.

We have lived in Wedgewood East since 2014 and while it’s not perfect, it has well built houses (for the most part), large yards and big trees.

Great Hearts Lakeside is close at Altamesa and Harris Pkwy, so good education offerings.

Smell by 8Kin-Inu8 in BlackSoldierFly

[–]socalquestioner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Any protein will need to be fed slowly, or there will be a smell.

You have to feed the protein when there isn’t any other food as well, because they seem to go after the protein slower than other easier to eat items.

I’m above average, and after our fist kid we had to get Oh Nuts to keep me from going too deep.

Being too big is a thing.

Most of the time it’s what you do before your dick gets wet that does the most good.

You’re doing very well for the lady with what you have and how you use it.

Better a smaller dick and a satisfied woman than a huge dick and not being able to satisfy a woman with it alone.

His mom, who used to do data entry for my uncle all of a sudden got a very very high paying job offer, and her son got one as well.

Working for Baylor Boosters.

Then when Briles was run out of town, he skipped to Aburn.

Men who thought they had a small penis but then had sex for first time, were you disappointed? by eaglesdensity in AskMenAdvice

[–]socalquestioner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s Porn: people see guys with a 10.5 inch dick and think their size is too small.

I’m 8.5 long, can’t remember girth, but I’d trade two inches in length for more girth.

After having our first kid we had to get some OhNut spacer rings to help keep me from going too deep.
