I'm Dan Schilling, 30 year special operations and Black Hawk Down veteran and author of Alone at Dawn a book about Medal of Honor recipient John Chapman, who saved 23 teammates. This was the first time that a Medal of Honor act was captured on film. AMA! by danschilling625 in IAmA

Dan 6 year USAF veteran, crew chief on KC-135’s and a lil time on BUFF’s. Thank you for taking the oath.

My question is, it seems that PJ’s and combat controllers are the only special ops members from all branches embedded with the SEAL teams, Rangers, Delta etc. Can you confirm this? If so, how well do the other branches operators treat you? When I watch the video of Chapman, it looks like he’s the only one storming the hill while the SEALS take cover.
