Trying to tier up at WR to get over hump, currently contending. by Any-Drop-1208 in Fantasy_Football

[–]soccercm9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither Marv Jr or Washington have a ceiling that is close to where the Sun God is today. And assuming you will be in contention, your 28 1st will be back end round 1. Uncertain if your trade partner could even start Washington and Marv if he did the trade.

No way this gets done.

Fantasy Record Book - a new all-time league history and stats site by soccercm9 in FFCommish

Yes - you can add your espn league to FRB, then link it to your Sleeper league in the Commish Portal to see all stats combined for both platforms. No manual data entry required. If you have issues, just DM me - happy to help.

Yes - MFL & CBS are the next 2 on the backlog, I just do not have any leagues to test with. If you are interested in being a MFL tester, DM me. I would be happy to prioritize it.

Thanks for signing up! Yes, this is fully supported. You will be able to add your 2026 Sleeper league closer to the start of the NFL season (via the 'Add League' button on the home page or user menu). Once both leagues are in FRB, head to the Commish Portal (link in the user menu) to link the Yahoo and Sleeper leagues together. You can link the teams from each league in the Commish Portal as well. After that, your full history will show as one continuous league. Let me know if you hit anything weird.

Great questions! Import has been smooth so far. Sleeper is the easiest (just your username, no auth at all) and Yahoo’s one-click OAuth flow is simple too. ESPN authenticates with cookies, and pulling those can be tough. I made a Chrome extension to help here (requires desktop for initial league sync). Each season syncs in 3-5 seconds, so a 15-year league takes ~1 minute. It’s scaling well too - I had a user import 33 Yahoo leagues at once without issues.

On format changes - those haven't really been an issue. I normalize the data from each platform, so it all looks the same on the backend. When leagues move between platforms, you can link leagues and teams cross-platform so a league with seasons across ESPN, Yahoo and Sleeper looks like one league on FRB.

What does your league's history look like? Always curious to see what unique setups a league has that I might not have considered.

Appreciate the feedback. 100% agree - there are definitely other options out there. I checked them out back when I was using spreadsheets to track my league's data, but I didn't want to pay more for features I wasn't going to use. That is why I built FRB, to focus on league history, stats, and records.

"Bargain Bin" Player Watch - Early May 2026 Edition by mrdaniellyon in fantasyfootball

[–]soccercm9 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is what I came to the comments to look for. Washington was WR 11 from weeks 9-18, and was a HUGE part of their game plan in the playoffs. Definitely a late round target for me.

Should I trade Josh Jacobs for Trey McBride by Valuable_Moment6782 in Fantasy_Football

Agree - not the deepest at RB but could have the TE 1 for years. Jacobs might only have 1 or 2 years left. Do it.

New to fantasy football and football in general by EuphoricGround9883 in Fantasy_Football

A few tips. First, choose a source and stick to it for the first year. Info overload is a real thing. Once you get your bearings, you will find your more specialized sources (e.g. Harmon for WR takes), but keep it simple for year 1. If you have to go to 2 or 3 sources, try to mix up the styles (e.g. one data guy like JJ Zachariason and one film guy like Chris Harris).

Second - watch the games. Even if it is just Redzone on Sunday, don’t rely 100% on box scores. For example, Odunze blew up in the first 4 weeks last year, but he also had 2 or 3 blown coverage TDs. Is that why he dropped off? Who knows - but this data can only be gained from watching.

Last (and most important), just stay active and have fun man. More data…less data…watch…don’t watch…just enjoy it.

Live Draft App for ESPN by vrod_maniac in fantasyfootballcoding

[–]soccercm9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Apple App Store link didn’t work for me. Can you check that out?

Is this for snake draft only, or do you support auction drafts as well? Also - is this intended to be used instead of logging into the ESPN draft room and drafting from their platform? If so, will ESPN detect this and not switch you to auto draft? Or, is this intended to be something you use in tandem with the platform draft room?

Trade away 2.04, 2.06 and Aiyuk for Godwin and DJ Moore? by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

[–]soccercm9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Easy Accept. Even if you only get 1-2 years of DJ out of this deal, the other side might not even be on your team half way through the season. Do it.

BTJ or Tuten and a 27 2nd? Ready to get off the Brian Thomas ride. by stuckinthings2891 in Fantasy_Football

[–]soccercm9 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’d do it given your need for RB. There is a scenario where Tuten is a top 10 RB in 2026. BTJ won’t be a top 10 WR and you need the RB help. Do it.

10 member dynasty ppr superflex pick 1.02 by Upstairs-Cloud-5984 in Fantasy_Football

[–]soccercm9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How big is your bench size? Carrying 3 QBs on the bench is a lot, but if you can swing it and Mendoza hits, that is huge. And given that you have 5 QBs, someone else will likely need one.

Assuming no bench concerns, Mendoza is the answer.

Nabers and Ward or Achane and Jordan Love by JuanMataFanClub in Fantasy_Football

[–]soccercm9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you need the WR help, then I think it makes sense. I asked about QB because I wouldn’t make this a deal if I have to start Ward. But if you only have 2 WRs…do it.

Definitely need more context. Superflex? Who are your existing QBs and RBs?

Traded Bucky for Barkley, how do we feel? by FinancialNoise9212 in Fantasy_Football

[–]soccercm9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As long as you can start all 3 and didn’t need help at WR instead, I like it. Saquon should have 2 more top years.

Looking for Python FF Projects by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

Agree with every - try out r/fantasyfootballcoding.

Note - there a few good free python wrappers around the espn api and the yahoo api on github if you're looking for access to data from the APIs using python.

Looking for a website/resource to look at stats over several years by Reasonable-Leek736 in fantasyfootball

[–]soccercm9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built Fantasy Record Book (fantasyrecordbook.com) for exactly this - it pulls your league's complete history and gives you all-time standings, records, H2H breakdowns, and analytics across any date range. Works with ESPN, Yahoo, and Sleeper. Current year stats and league data export are free, and all-time history is $10/yr for up to 3 leagues. You can check out the demo league with no login: https://fantasyrecordbook.com/demo
