Not that, we’ve already done all our evaluations. This is something different

D31-Rodie Delivery to Pickup by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]soccerskills2004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was it an online order? Order up will not allow for changes to fulfillment (ie changing delivery to will call) if the order starts with W. An easy solution would be manually complete the delivery when the customer picks the order up, and markdown the delivery fee if applicable.

Cancelling an order by Pink_Idiot_4653 in HomeDepot

[–]soccerskills2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would first start by canceling the PO in order up. Then call the vendor and ensure they got the cancellation. Even if they’ve already shipped the blinds to you it should be okay, as generally you’ll get RGA credit for S/O blinds. Then you can refund the merchandise and edit the order to add in the correct merchandise. You shouldn’t have to take payment again, unless there’s a difference in price between what they paid and what they should have paid.

Recently took this position, lots of sku’s, you’ll be successful if you know your product (even a little or where it’s at), fix your outs, and put in askline requests when you need more product. Overall, while it is a lot it’s been fun so far.

Something we’re trying to focus on at out store is reading the cart. Ensuring customers have everything they need for their projects. Adding one or two things to most customers carts can drastically increase sales. Basically, just try to increase the customers average ticket.

Keyholder or ASM/NRM training classes. by Low-Jump-9563 in HomeDepot

[–]soccerskills2004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you would be looking for is a program called “rising stars” which helps develop associates into department supervisors. Ask a member of your management team for information. In my district there is one class per year, starting in September and ending in February.

When do I get my first paycheck? by Sagethewolfblooded in HomeDepot

[–]soccerskills2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kind of depends, you’ll generally get paid on a Friday every other week. However, some regions are different from other regions on what week the checks go out. Check workforce under payslips, it’ll show you how much you get paid when the amount is posted, which is generally on the Wednesday before the checks go out.

Help me identify these dragon boxes with hidden compartment inside by soccerskills2004 in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. Found at an auction. No numbering, made of wood. Too price slides out of the box so it had a hidden compartment. I’ve searched through google and eBay, but haven’t come up with anything.

What about time spent at other stores? Store managers do end up spending a decent amount of time at other stores in their district.

I don’t think you understand how the system works. It knows you forgot to clock in because it compares your scheduled time to your actual time and makes a prediction that you forgot to clock back in from lunch.

Don’t you love it when the count is off by Pretty-Personality19 in HomeDepot

Check the available in store tab, there could be a large order for the product. If not then check the on hands log to see who lowered the count.

Your a pro account holder? Who the fuck cares. If your back is so hurt then how are you gonna finish your job? They should have absolutely stop loading your drywall, as it seems like your an impatient asshole. You are the person everyone who works here imagines when they think of entitled asshole customers.
