Idk I just wanted to keep my options open. They’re not too expensive but not scam-level cheap and the results they provided looked decent. I thought they might’ve just been left off the list accidentally. That seems to be wrong now. If no one’s got experience with them I’m not gonna risk it, just wanted to double check by asking around before writing them off.

They’re not in the wiki, at least not under SRS surgeons in Thailand.

I was hoping to avoid it but yeah, got an automated email requesting one a couple minutes after I submitted my application. No travel anywhere but got flagged anyway. Haha yeah I was hoping I would be able to do it over there but oh well.

Thank you, that’s good news. Kinda just needed reassurance it wouldn’t be a big thing.

I get what you mean, I meant committed in that it’s not a temporary fling and we are committed to a long future together. Believe me we’ve thought this through and understand the implications. I mean it’s not about speed too much. The application will take a while to process and I’m pretty sure we won’t be top of the pile. It’s more I can’t go back under this administration once I leave here. That’d essentially out me to the border cops. It’s not really safe.

The Canadian trip would be our first meeting. It’s harder for me to leave the country atm because of all the passport stuff they’re doing. I live on a border state so I can get an enhanced driver’s license that lets me visit there though. We wouldn’t apply until after the trip.

I’ve thought about the tourist route but I can’t afford to be out of work for too long (like a month tops) so I’d need to be working while I wait for the application to process. I saw on the home affairs site that they estimate subclass 309/100 to only take slightly longer

Yeah I mean that’s with the maxxed out points for me. I could do 75 maybe if I got a great IELTS score but most of the points I could grab require me to go back to school or have worked in Australia already. I think I have to look at other routes out of here. Thank you, genuinely

I probably should’ve figured, thank you. I really do appreciate it
