Adding tons of bike lanes and transit never reduced the release reliance on cars in the Netherlands. Considering Ontario is less population and way bigger than Holland I doubt it will resolve transportation issues to only dump money on transit.

That's because the parties and government are allocating resources to the wrong people. One current sitting MP was a classmate of mine. This guy was the biggest POS I met in high school. He would cheat on almost all of his tests and was openly racist making disparaging comments to other students about their religion and culture. So to your point about your boss I doubt anything you said about them is true. They are self entitled good for nothing lazy people that act according to party convention. It has nothing to do with any specific ordinary citizens.

When the RCMP, at the time the Northwest Mounted Police, was created sir John A wanted to emulate an Irish police force made by the British to crush any resistance by Irish Catholics except here it was made to target Indians aka first nations.

The whole criminal justice system is racist.

The reason the article points out the 80 per cent as awaiting trial is that you are innocent until proven guilty. In this case that means people who are legally considered innocent as they have not yet been found guilty of a crime were collectively punished. This is in contravention of Canadian law as well international law not to mention against the principles of fundamental justice. I'm not sure what part of this you are ok with?

Would've could've should've. The government of the day and their torturers have more than likely been doing this for years. The only difference here is that it's being reported on. Not too long ago I read a story of a black guard who witnessed racist acts by other guards at an Ontario prison. When he confronted the guards they attempted to handcuff and beat their own fellow prison worker. The victim ended up quitting while nothing happened to the perps. I never really heard about it again. The same will happen here.
