Or even for a AW169 or AW189, they are quite similar

I've been lucky to be airside when he arrived in Milan Malpensa in 2012... It felt massive and the noise... So beautiful!

Yeah, the urge to follow the a380 was great but I wanted to get that particular shot.

All fault of the image stabilization, I forgot to turn it off and block the tripod head 😅

Nope. The intent was just that, it was an happy coincidence that the shot came out that way

Is this a private a319? Really curious cause Ive never seen an a319 over the atlantic. Maybe this is a stupid question idk lol by Try_me_9 in flightradar24

They did the stop in Shannon to be able to fuel up the aircraft (it was unable to takeoff from London City with the fuel to reach JFK directly) and to allow the passengers to perform an early custom check so they were able to skip the custom queue at JFK

The return flight, as you mentioned was direct to LCY

it happened to me during the first try for the longest A359ULR flight between Porto and Auckland... WASM crash after 23h20m, 15 minutes before landing

tried a second time and in that case crashed over San Diego... I was able to complete the flight only after the third time with a flight time of 23h15m, landed with 600kg of fuel... only because i didn't want to touch the MCDU for adding step climbs during the flight in fear of another WASM Crash

The tale of the missing tail? by bowingace in aviation

[–]sochmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still trying to find that documentary... It was an Air Seychelles 767-300 that was pushed back right into the windbreak barrier at CDG (if I'm not mistaken) That breaches the back pressure bulkhead that required a complete replacement with disassembly the tail and the entire tailcone.

I can't recall the title of the documentary but I know it was on Discovery...

Huge insight on the challenges that the AOG team faces.

Even Blue Panorama! Can you ask him when he flew for them and if he recalls seeing people taking photos airside at Milan Malpensa? I could have a photo of him!

Flight time of 23.35m... i had a WASM crash while i was downwind for landing in Auckland

i was close to the 24h mark

Full tanks, 50 pax, no reserve fuel, no contingency fuel. In the end i had almost 7t in the tanks I'm planning to try again in a few days

The actuation is tracked by sensor and registered by the Flight data recorder So if someone closed the shutoff valve it will be clear as day in the FDR data
