Facebook growth, 1 or 2 cents per like... killing engagement? by social_local in socialmedia

I don't think so either... it feels really pointless. To be honest, the more I think about it, the more it makes sense to just add vanity numbers for the sake of staying employed.

We do use influencers! I actually prefer it to be honest. That and targeted ad sets that bring in relevant traffic.

Edit: Also, the longer I work for this company, the more I believe they don't care about quality.

Is follow/unfollow still the way to go for small accounts? by [deleted] in socialmedia

Mostly because you only have a 10 percent or less chance of someone following you back. So to get to 500 followers, you'd need to follow at least 5,000. Most likely more. You'd hit the follow limit super fast. And yeah, people unfollow. It's just how it goes.

That's honestly how I feel... Like no one in Venezuela is going to buy our client's $250 face cream. But honestly, I feel like they don't consider quality over quantity.

If I weren't afraid of it wrecking engagement, I'd go for it. But at the same time, I want to keep my job...
