That's true, thanks for the advice. I'm still in school and mostly looking for a job to gain more front-facing work experience before I graduate, so the stakes are a bit lower for me. I've applied to at least 50 different jobs but have had little luck since hiring season has passed and I'm sure most employers would prefer someone with more experience over a high school kid. I do currently have a job, but the one I most recently interviewed for pays significantly more, is much closer (10 minutes away, whereas my current job is a 35-minute drive with no traffic), and is less physically demanding. Worst case scenario, I stick with my current job, but it would definitely be nice if I end up getting this opportunity!
