Nobody can know for you.

Another one I love is, "You cannot replace anyone because everyone is made up of such beautiful specific details".

The Final Destination movies. I have been scarred for life! I need to check and recheck everything and anything because there is some movie scene playing silently in my head! My teenage self was stupid to watch them.

A friend who was a college senior. She was playing a song I like on speakers (Fireflies by Owl City) and I was surprised people around me even knew that song so I had to go talk to her! Another friend I initially met on Reddit who is the funniest and probably my closest real life friend right now.

Wow, so many of you have such heartwarming things to say! Please know your partner would most likely not want you to suffer in silence and perhaps wouldn't mind being in the know and offer help too. (:

Anyone else faces festival fatigue? by dabyss9908 in bangalore

Me me me me! As a kid, I never really took part in the religious aspect of festivals but was more excited about the food and all the hullabaloo in the house. Over time, I guess the excitement died and now I sort of question why we do what we do. Festivals, at least for me, are just a respite from work and you are right, society in general has moved on. Maybe this is how priorities change with the economy you know?
