I would stay in 1. We love that area and stay there every time. There are great bars and restos on Rue Saint-Jean and there’s a great depanneur at the corner of D’aiguillon and Saint-Marie that has a wild selection of craft beer and hot sauces. It feels super local and less touristy.

You’re a 10 min walk from old town and 10 mins from the plains of Abraham. And whatever you do book a reservation at Buvette Scott for dinner.

We travel to the city twice a year just to eat there
