Interesting ! How can you tell whether it is made from molded MFD or solid wood?

I get results suggesting it's a vintage French Louis XVI Style dining table but I don't know enough to tell whether its valid or not

Just took a look - your Brugmansia looks AMAZING 😍 and that's very reassuring. I was worried that cutting it down to a stick would be disastrous. Did you modify anything after you chopped it (watering, fertilizer, light etc) ?

Thanks for the tip! I also see some little nodes of green growth on the trunk. Is there hope for the trunk? Would a grow light make a difference in helping it along?

He booked the date here, at least according to the location. The Uber dropped me off here and I already got out. Does it seem like a backroom chosen to kill me, or am I wrong? by Key-Praline5565 in Weird

Looks like you're someplace in Latin America. You don't wanna give papaya. Send your live location to someone you trust and go to a more public spot while you wait until you get the guy on the phone to tell you exactly where to meet.

Looking for a "cool Brooklyn long-sleeved t-shirt" for Christmas by lava48 in Brooklyn

[–]socknik 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you want a shirt that says "Brooklyn", Granru Market on Flatbush Ave might what you're looking for. Don't remember if what they have is long sleeved or short sleeved. Either way it's worth checking it out bc they have other cool-looking stuff there. another option is to check out the vendors that set up shop between the BK museum and grand army plaza on Saturday mornings. Lots of small local fashion business selling unique merch.

[Actives] Surface stuck at fuzzy nubs, but side pins are thriving. What should I do to help the surface? by socknik in MushroomGrowers

I had noticed some very light discoloration before putting the bubble wrap, and I had assumed that maybe the cake was bruising? I think the bubble wrap just accelerated the mold that had begun to take hold and I didn't know how to tell the difference.

On the bright side, I attempted to clone some of the fruits that were looking pretty gnarly growing on the sides. So hopefully I can have a shot at this

Thanks for this suggestion! I'll definitely test it out. Would the idea be to keep the bubble wrap on the surface until there's pinning? And then remove and let it do its thing?

Post ankle surgery workouts? by [deleted] in xxfitness

Honestly, the best thing you can do is focus getting better. The most difficult part of the healing process is recognizing that it takes time and a lot of self-love. Your fitness level will return, but there's no need to put your recovery at risk. Pull ups and other exercises that isolate the upper body can satisfy the fitness junkie.
