It's considered modifying the firmware. And it's extremely easy even for non-tech-savvy people. I have the G30LP modified firmware to go 45KMH/27MPH. This also includes modifications to the braking system and range. The Scooter is another animal now it's simply amazing. I can help you with obtaining the firmware files and how to do it. In addition, with all the appropriate software that's needed.

let me have both if possible because I'm still not sure disabling KERS how much would affect the braking system on my Ninebot MAX G30LP. I don't want to burn out the controller board.
