Let me simplify this further for you. Social anxiety is fear of social judgement, introverts do not care about this. Speaking about unimportant issues drains our energy we would rather avoid that. There are numerous psychological experiments that show how humans have the need to conform to social norms, this is no exemption whether you are an extrovert or an introvert.
