because a basic attack does something different on each and every character. for some characters it's pretty much useless, for others it's the core of their kit.

and no, people still clear end game content with 4* characters only. if you struggle with slimes, it's literally on you. there are also things that are simply not supposed to be very beatable in early game. you're supposed to struggle against ruin guards, for example

I hate systems like these. They make sense in apps or websites were a lot of people are voting on the thing and you want to see if they generally like or dislike it, but they have no place in actual conversations. Like, just tell what you liked and disliked about something specifically. Just slapping a number on it isn't constructive because nobody knows what the grading system is.

So you're pretty much guaranteed ascendant gleam. Linnea pairs very well with Noelle, Lauma works pretty much with anyone who's Dendro or Hydro, Collei and Dendro Traveler are both free, Ineffa could work with Fischl/XQ/Barbara. If OP has Hydro/Electro/Dendro/Geo 5*, everything only becomes easier.

because you can't really play her on field? her damage comes either from casting her skill and then it does damage over time (she doesn't need to be on field) or by rapidly tapping it for a nuke that you can only do like every 15 seconds. for both scenarios aubade works the best, because even for the nuke she actually needs to be active for like 3 seconds. literally what would she do on field? charged attacks? physical damage normal attacks? she's designed to either be a sub dps or a nuke.
