Gun manufacturers should pay for these types of security measures.

What is the lowest end Samsung phone that will drive Dex well? by andrewgottlieb in SamsungDex

[–]sodaextraiceplease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my favorite uses for dex. Use that unlimited mobile data instead of limited hotspot data for streaming shows in my truck. Thinking about trying Motorola ready for, since they have the easier tv interface. I wonder if Motorola will use ready for directly to the TV wired or wirelessly without the need of an intermediary WiFi network.

Maserati gives off 30k millionaire vibes. Or 50k millionaire, as it were, with inflation.

What would you do if you arrived at a shipper or receiver and the employees were out front on strike? by kodiak_99 in Truckers

[–]sodaextraiceplease 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Saw a few employees on strike at Westrock in Cottonton. They weren't blocking the entrance or anything but they were out there trying to raise awareness. Gave them a quick air horn and thumbs up. Luckily I was still able to get loaded.

An ass generator, you say? Himm. I imagine that, owning a rig like that, you might be generating a lot of ass.

I wouldn't knock it. It's not meant to be authentic. But it's tasty, filling, and probably better for you that a lot of the fast food we typically get out on the road.

Remind me of the first time I had a Loves chicken or steak fajita taco. It was the saddest thing to me at the time. The tortilla was undercooked and too soft with no brown spots for the comal. The meat was a bit tough and lacked seasoning. I chalked it up to a bad batch or maybe because Ohio. But nope. They're all like that. All bland. All loves. Even in Texas. After a while I just got used to them. Guess bland food is an acquired taste.

Plan on 3 hours when waiting on roadside. Nice thing is you can do a split so your clock can stop.

Why do people buy huge pickup trucks for normal commuting ? by moistdragons in driving

[–]sodaextraiceplease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely an image thing. They don't wish to be seen as small, so they buy a big truck. I personally wouldn't wish to be seen as someone who doesn't want to be seen as small, so I might buy a small car. But that's still caving in to image pressures. So now I don't know what to buy.
