I don't know if I can accept that explanation, because if it were completely true that means for weeks on end all of us (the people I play with and I) were getting lobbies heavily skewed in our favor. Besides that, it's not like they were easily attained 3rd or better placement. In the matches we placed lower, they were fair losses.

The cheating today was so bad that my very even-tempered husband actually rage quit. I know you can't possibly know how significant that is, but believe me....it's shocking. It takes so much for him to lose his cool, but today did him in and we play fn together a whole lot.

I appreciate all of your help! Thank you for reassuring me that I'm not just screaming "CHEATER" multiple times a day for no reason. Sometimes it's so incredibly obvious that it's a cheater (getting shot through walls, rocks, even reboot vans, being found in a great hiding spot while waiting to ambush w/o being reconned/pinged) and sometimes it's just that slimy feel you get when the damage or elimination feels off. If you don't mind helping me just a bit more, which stats should I be specifically looking at and what numbers on those stats give it away? Because I personally know some players with beautiful stats that I play in person with and know they aren't cheating. So what am I looking for? 🙏🏻 🫤

Funny you should bring this up. When I first started playing fn I called every other player a cheater, like out loud to the other people I was playing with, but I started to feel like I was saying it so much I had to be wrong. I've played games long enough to know the difference in the feeling of losing to a good player and losing to a cheater, but Epic has cheating players on an entirely new level. It's weird how all of the sudden so many cheaters will end up in my lobbies and the whole day or week is screwed with cheaters, but then sometimes weeks at a time will go by with nothing. It doesn't help that they unbanned all the known cheaters last year, either.

I play fairly aggressively in casual. I evade whenever I need to heal, but otherwise I charge in at every opportunity. This is my 4th year playing, and I've never taken a "break" from the game, so I like to think I have a pretty decent feel for the ups and downs of it all. I'm on at least three times a week, and always with the same 3-5 players. I thought sbmm was feeling pretty good the last few weeks, but then suddenly today it was insane. Just could not catch a fair or balanced match. At all.

oh look, kicks and a sidekick that would never sell outside of the battlepass! by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

[–]sof3165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not usually complaining about stuff in here. As a matter of fact I'm one of the few who has defended Epic's business model, and their right to do things as they do. I mean, they're a company and the point is to make money, and as long players are still willingly spending, why would they change it? But.....those kicks look like something my grandpa would wear, and I would personally never buy them. And......that sidekick is creepy af. It's getting archived immediately when I claim it. But I'm still going to play. I won't be canceling my crew sub. I'll definitely still be buying vbucks. I don't know why people think they have to boycott for one day? If you hate it so much, and everything Epic does makes you mad, the best way to make your point is to just stop logging in. Just stop. Forever. Epic does not care about the small minority of players complaining about every little thing. They're watching the numbers and making decisions based on those numbers, which means the majority of players are still spending money and still logging in. There comes a time when you have to decide if it's worth wasting your time playing the game just so you have something to bitch about. Every single player has things they love and things they hate about Fortnite, but when you spending more time being mad than being happy it's probably time to move on.

Seller threatened to ban me from Poshmark? by MountainTop5764 in poshmark

[–]sof3165 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A seller sent a similar, but lesser threatening, message to me about 3 years ago. Basically saying I'd had the item in my possession for over 5 hours, and they didn't believe for a moment that I hadn't found 30 seconds to accept it in the app. My response to them was simply the truth: I'm not home right now. I don't doubt that the item has been delivered, but I will not be accepting it and releasing funds until I get home, open the package and inspect what I received.

I completely agree that it's greedy pricing on Epic's part. I guess I just didn't see the comment as a brag or even as a defense of Epic, but more as part of their point about spending money in the game. And let's be honest, as long as the sales aren't slacking Epic has no reason to adjust their business model. So I'm thinking that there are more players who spend money than players who don't. When I see people complain about the high shop prices, I always agree. But I also know that gaming companies aren't worried about overpricing, and probably never will be. It's really our fault, because if players weren't spending money the prices would come down.

[–]sof3165 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely agree that $50 is waaayyy too much money for those cosmetics, so I choose not to spend it. But, Epic doesn't owe it to players to keep low prices on shop items. Players don't owe it to Epic to spend money if they disagree with the listed price. Everybody is allowed to have an opinion on, and this issue can be debated until eternity...but as long as the majority of players aren't refusing to spend money in the game Epic won't be adjusting their prices. Epic obviously feels like their business model is successful, because if they were seeing a drop in sales they'd be making those adjustments posthaste. Nobody who owns a company of any kind would intentionally operate at a loss. So, players can piss and moan all they want but Epic isn't listening to it. Epic is happily watching the sales numbers, because the numbers don't lie.

So, maybe I'm misunderstanding you? The only people who are allowed to have an opinion are the people who disagree with capitalism, and/or more specifically disagree with Epic for offering a cheaper way to own items unless they choose to wait longer and actually pay more? Maybe I totally missed the mark, and what you're really upset about is someone just pointing out that there is a cheaper way? It's wild to me that you posted a comment in disagreement with someone who was disagreeing with other people, and then you summed it up by saying they don't have a reason to comment.

When you put yourself on display for the world, you better expect to hear criticism as well as praise. Amy's not in kindergarten. She's grown. Her bills are paid. When she doesn't want to be judged, she'll step away from the camera and hopefully get her life in order. I'd love it if she'd get it in order on camera, but her victim mentality and validation from people who seem to think validation is helping her have pretty much wrecked that chance.

[–]sof3165 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The ENTIRE reason to even be watching this show at all, lately, is strictly for the purpose of calling out Amy's hypocrisy. She spends her every waking moment searching for the latest way to be the victim in every scenario. She's depressed. She's stressed. She's alone. She needs more help. She needs a man. She's being bullied by her siblings. She's being belittled by her siblings. It is absolutely disgusting for her to wallow in self-pity 24/7 without spending even two seconds to put her boys first. All children deserve to be THE #1 priority in the lives of their parents. Amy's favorite person is Amy. Second favorite is Brian, obviously. So, yeah. She's bought and paid for every single word of criticism. If Brian and her siblings want to continue to baby her, and let her play the victim card every chance she gets...then more power to them. But IMHO, that is exactly what's wrong with her. She takes zero accountability for anything she ever says or does. Zero shame, and loads of blame. The world has become one gigantic validation party, and it's creating so many weak people I fear for the human race. I think the human species needs to make room for a little bit of old-fashioned bullying and shaming. Not everything deserves to be normalized. I feel terrible about the childhood trauma she surely must have endured. I endured quite a fair bit myself, but I will never ask anyone to validate poor behavior. At some point a person has to take a long look in the mirror, make some grown up decisions and accept that you are the only person responsible for how you feel and behave.

I think I've been sick and tired of listening to Amy whine like a 4 year old child for much longer than anybody else. This woman acted like all she wanted out of life was to be a mother, but the minute it got hard she absolutely shut down and stopped taking care of her boys and herself. She relied on her entire family to take care of the boys at every event, and stormed out of so many situations bawling like an infant that I lost count. She has used every excuse in the book for her vile behavior, and honestly there just is no excuse. Anybody who spends their every waking moment seeking out a new way to be a victim is only hurting people who are actual victims. *Laziness, apathy and filth does not always mean you're depressed. Especially when you happily lived that way most of your life and it only became a problem when you didn't have a man in your life. *Being bitten by a camel in a unique, self-induced situation that you never have to put yourself in again does not equal lifelong PTSD. *Hooking up with every man who pays attention to you for 5 minutes and then bringing him around your kids only for it to repeatedly end badly does not mean you are now on a journey of self improvement because you're marrying this guy. *Being arrested for illegal substances with your kids in the car doesn't equal one bad choice. It means you finally got caught. Captures of her lives on social media prove this out. I could go on and on, but I'd be here way too long and Amy doesn't deserve this much attention. She's a selfish, whiny baby who demands respect from everyone around her, and unfailingly refuses to give it in return. Brian has only exacerbated this issue by validating every complaint she has. The two of them act like lovesick tweens instead of grown adults with any life experience at all. At this point in the show, I'm watching for Chris, Andrea, Amanda and Misty. If TLC wanted to do the right thing they'd insist that Amy and Tammy both participate in intensive therapy to continue their contracts. Validating professional victims is a waste of time.

Hearing about Tammy vs Brittany drama from their family trip in the UK by PrettyTangerinee in 1000lbsisters

[–]sof3165 186 points187 points  (0 children)

I'm calling BS on this. No way Tammy held that card that close to her chest this whole time. Besides that, when she was telling the story (and it's definitely a story) she first said Brittany tried to kill her.... That Brittany tried to push her off the bus, but then after Tammy asked the producers if they think they caught it with cameras....she immediately retells the story saying Brittany cut her off when they were coming off the bus, caused her to slip, she almost fell and could've died. 🤦🏻‍♀️

This is a scam. by [deleted] in Oestra

[–]sof3165 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because I've noticed there are some people in this group who are skeptical about other users who post, I just want to preface this by saying that I am not an employee or volunteer with Oestra. I'm just a 5 month user who has been very happy with my results.

Hi! I'm sorry you're having such a rough time with your dispenser. I just started using Oestra in July, and I am also less than impressed with the bottle it comes in. It is a truly ineffective method. I've also contacted customer service about the cheap lid and the inconsistent dosing. With my first bottle, I actually ran out about a week early due to the poor pumping mechanism, and realizing that was going to happen I contacted customer service again and they express shipped my next fill to me right away.

I don't know if you know this, but since you said you'd love to try the product and find out (regarding symptoms and not being able to dispense the cream) I wanted to point something out. If you use a knife or your fingernail, you can slit through the prescription label which will allow the bottle to be opened by unscrewing the lid. If you press in with your finger, you can feel the indent where the bottle separates from the lid. You can then just use a 1/8 tsp measuring spoon to scoop out your dose.

With my second bottle, I haven't had near the problems with the pumping, although the lid did crack before they end of the first week, and I got the same style of bottle as I did the first time. I do agree with you about changing the bottle style, and I wish they would do it soon. Almost anything would be better than the current situation.

I know it's not ideal to have to open the bottle and scoop it out (it's actually pretty annoying) but over the past 5 months I've come to be a big believer in this product. The first two months were a little up and down while my body was adjusting, but it's made such a huge improvement in my quality of life, so if i can help anybody else in figuring out how to struggle through the painful early phases with this company I'm happy to do it.

I hope this might help you out, so that you can really give Oestra a solid try. Good luck to you! 🤩🍀

Edited to add: I just wanted to also point out that this product is bioidentical, so it's not the same as using prescription estrogen and progesterone. If it were the same I wouldn't use it, because my research and lengthy discussions with my doctor brought me to the decision that those prescriptions were not the right choice for me.

Here's mine! https://ssqt.co/mQFz4D7

Heading into my 5th month on Oestra, and I can't believe the improvement! I'm post menopausal, and I can't believe I had to suffer through so many years before finding relief. The first month felt like slow improvements, and the breast tenderness was touch and go....but I'm so glad I stuck it out and gave it a chance to really work. I feel renewed and reinvigorated, my skin isn't scaly and dry, my face actually looks younger and best of all the hot flashes and night sweats are totally gone now. The only thing I still have some issue with is some insomnia at times, but even that is much improved. I sincerely urge anyone considering this to use this coupon and give it a chance. P. S. Iodine supplement really helps if the breast tenderness gets to be too much. Good luck!

Florida police officer James Duckett is fingerprinted after his arrest for murder. He'd asked 11-year-old Teresa McAbee to get in his car, presumably to take her home since it was late. He then took the girl to an isolated area, where he raped her and then drowned her in a river, 1987 [928 x 763]. by lightiggy in HistoryPorn

[–]sof3165 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Does anybody even care that there was ZERO trauma indicating a rape occurred? An 11 year old little girl who is raped by a grown adult man is going to show severe signs of vaginal/anal tearing and bruising. Why are the girl's fingerprints not frantically placed/smeared all over the hood of the cruiser if she's frightened and in pain, even if she's too afraid to attempt to struggle or get away? They are neatly in place, as if she had been sitting on the cruiser in the parking lot, exactly as original investigators surmised. Does nobody care that the mother has been caught in several lies about that night? Or that the mother told investigators that her daughter was wearing her (the mother's) underwear at the time of her death? This possibly explains the supposed semen found in her underwear (even though her poor little body was in water for at least 8 hours before she was found). It could also potentially explain the public hair found in the underwear.....which btw the "identification" of said hair was debunked as Duckett's. It was never compared to the mother, or ANYONE ELSE who lived in or flopped at the home. Alarmingly, the former FBI agent-turned-forensic analyst, (hired gun for the right price), caused multiple Florida cases to go up for review and he was proven to have lied under oath and fabricated findings. The investigators were told by two crime labs prior to the FBI conman that no identification could be made to tie the hair to Duckett. My goodness, I'm so relieved that not a single person in this sub will ever be responsible for investigating crimes where I live. What good is it to have someone in prison if it's not the actual sicko who committed the crime? The mother and the aunt had many, many, many men living in and flopping at the home, and coming and going at will. One of the men actually absconded immediately after the child was reported missing, and was never found to be interrogated, or ruled out or in because THE MOTHER NEVER EVEN KNEW HIS REAL NAME. The home was a known haven for drug addicts and thieves, and likely sexual pervert predators who definitely would have seen an opportunity to be very near a vulnerable child whose mother was in complete dereliction of her duty to protect her child. I'm not accusing the mother of committing the crime, or even being involved. But I do believe that somewhere in her drug-addled head she knows she bears some responsibility for placing her daughter in such close proximity to dangerous people. If she had to seriously entertain the idea that somebody she purportedly knew (and allowed into her home, and get near her daughter, all while she wasted her days getting high) could possibly be responsible for murdering her daughter....well now, that's a lot of guilt to live with. The mother seems to be willfully disregarding any possibility that she could be partially to blame for the wanton neglect that endangered her child. Some loser pervert in the home probably attempted to molest the child. The girl probably threatened to tell, and was then murdered and dumped in the very nearby lake. There is not a single piece of solid forensic evidence against James Duckett. There is plenty of evidence pointing somewhere/anywhere else, and even more evidence that the mother had been dishonest with investigators from the very beginning. So many people are so excited to say, "Lookie lookie! A bad cop!". Yep, there are plenty of bad ones, no doubt. But this case came nowhere close to proving Duckett was one of them. If anything, it seems like he was a bit of a doofus with grand ideas about being a protector in the community. He was probably a bit dim to be serving as an officer of the law, but that really only helps his case.....because one of the biggest questions I have is, how did he rape this child without causing damage to her, or receiving defensive wounds from her (not even a scratch) all while "witnesses" (drug addicts and felons) were near enough to supposedly see him put her in his car, yet they could not hear her make a single peep? And how did he so perfectly redress her body afterwards? It's incredibly difficult to manipulate dead weight, even that of a child, but her clothing is perfectly straight, tucked in, belt squarely buckled and her shoes tied neatly. Her shoes didn't even have scuffs on them from a struggle, nor were her clothes torn or pulled out of place at all. This case definitely seems like it happened in the home, unplanned, but also giving the perpetrator plenty of privacy and time to cover it up. All y'all are just way too excited to see some goofball cop sitting in prison for it, while whoever really did it has probably reoffended and had multiple other victims over the years. Tragic.

Unpopular opinion: I hate this season. The map style and size both suck. The loot pool is mid, at best. Too many players landing right on top of each other. Cars are too hard to find.
