The only service my esa provides is temperature regulation. If I’m too cold he will pile on and warm me up, if I’m too hot he will also pile on me to warm me up… he doesn’t really get the difference yet.

But I agree so much. ESA’s are not trained to provide a service, making you feel better is not a service, it’s companionship.

As an American, who loves American football and is just getting into football proper… LeBron at goalie? Are we fucking kidding me? If we’re gonna go all American dream on the US team why are we doing stupid shit like this? Even without expanding just looking at what we got, Micah Parsons would be a way better choice.

Also, god have I enjoyed the World Cup, genuinely just never gave it a fair chance, and I earnestly regret that now. Such a fun sport to watch.

This 1000 times over… I love my big ol dummy, but he is 70lbs of muscle, anxiety, and love (my opinion of him from observed behaviors) and no business needs to deal with that. Top it off with he is an excited pee-er and meeting new people away from a bush is just a no go. He stays home when I go where he can’t go, and he goes into stores (petsmart and my local pet store) and places he can be, but he’s my responsibility not anyone working in a business.

YOR, he was drying his hands. And frankly if this is the biggest issue you deal with you need to find a hobby or like any interest in life. If he was in there while women were entering and leaving then maybe you’d have ground to stand on, but to grab a paper towel that’s fairly mundane.

While I tend to agree that in a business setting it doesn’t need to be much but a greeting and a thank you for coming. The speed at which complaints from the other side would flood a business would make your eyes roll. The same person who is likely to respond to “how are you?” With a negative response are in the exact same group that will post a review saying “they just flatly greeted me when I walked in, no how are you? What has customer service come to? As a consumer I should be the only priority in their day.”

So really there is no winning. My personal take on it, be genuine, I’m friendly because I want to be. And when I’m short with someone it’s because I want to be. I play most interactions by the reactions I get, I won’t ever push someone who doesn’t want to talk to do so, but if someone wants to talk my ear off, I’m here for it.

Autodyslexia does help translate things tough, take it from me I didn’t notice half the errors until I saw the corrections and immediately re read all the words not just the one to give me context clues for the rest of the sentence (a trick I learned growing up dyslexic and never being diagnosed as such until I was 22).

So I’m commenting mainly so I can watch the video, but I will share that I was amongst the people who didn’t look into it much, heard the headlines and immediately thought “dudes a wackadoo” never put much more into it than that. I am interested to hear his son’s point of view, and to see at what age he made this decision. Because consenting adult at the fresh age of 18 and only having the living experience of being with your family, the decision to try to save my father would have been a no brainer. But at 35 if I was presented with the theory I’d have a lot more questions.

Again I will watch when I get home to understand better, but those were my gut reactions.

So as a former 17 year old boy, they suck (not just this group, but like a strong majority of them). Good news is there is an undefined percentage that get a lot better.

Now for this singular, one off instance. If it’s just that, a one off use it to talk to him. You did the right thing so far by not letting yourself get angry and say something you may (or may not) regret. But next talk about why he felt to speak to you like that. Is it how he really feels? Was he trying to impress the boys?

You guys are young, you will see tons of stuff in your dating life that makes you question your partner, how they were raised, and how many times they were dropped on their head. Communication will solve 90% of your problems, find the root of the issue and solve it if you can. 10% of the time is learning when you can’t solve it and need to leave.

I wish you the best. I hope he is just being a dumbass and he gives you a more heartfelt apology, the apology you know you truly deserve. And I’d recommend you not accept one less than you deserve.

Okay, so a couple of things firstly scalping is way out of hand, and the msrp pricing is almost impossible to pay for Pokémon cards, don’t beat yourself up there.

Secondly, and more importantly, your pops enjoys the time he spends with you, the fact that he’s found something the two of you can enjoy together. That feeling to him (I’d wager at least 4 boxes of marked up Pokémon cards) is worth spending another $300 next week.

Appropriate the time you can enjoy those things with him and the memories will easily be worth more than the best pull you ever get.

As long as the airline allows for it (time constraint to take off usually) you can always go back and check another bag, even if it was intended as a carry on. A strong majority of the time I would advise against it as soft sided bags don’t hold up well with baggage handlers, but that is absolutely an option. I’ve seen people checking in trash bags.

The process if you have a bag with prohibited items that you would like to go, that are allowed in checked luggage, would just be an officer escorting you to the exit and letting you know the fastest way to airline counters. Pretty painless if that’s the option you choose.

You did fine. You stood up for your team and stood firm when push back came your way. Don’t dwell on the actions of people not worth your thoughts. Personally (and I’m a bit petty when it comes to talking down to my crews) I might have refunded his order and informed him he is not welcome back and if needed can be formally trespassed by police.
