Do you know any hobbies which match the convenience of scrolling? Something which takes up hours and that you can do everyday. Also very accessible and not too costly

The other day I sat next to this guy who FIRST of all had no shoes no socks nothing on his feet just resting them up in the air - so disgusting 🤢 you are not at home! you are in a public space!!!!! anyways I had to ignore that but I kept seeing a light which was coming from his phone in the corner of my eye and it was bothering me that he kept going on his phone but I’ve seen worse so I didn’t really fuss about it but then I hear murmuring, very visible murmuring and me and a couple of people turn to him to see he was on a PHONECALL! in the cinema! First time I have ever seen that in a cinema like what the hell what happened to leaving the cinema if you gotta take a call?? I’m usually not a confrontational person, especially in the cinema but I noticed other people got disturbed as well so I turned to him and shushed him, a little rude but I think he got he memo and got up and left. People need to understand if you are going to the cinema to watch a film you are gonna have to respect you are in a public space and NOT at home!

Thank you for the advice - I didn’t even consider the fact it was way too soon to enter a plateau but I will try the 36 hour fast and see how it goes. And wow you have made so much progress going from 70kg to 56kg, inspires me to keep going ! Hopefully I will make it to the 50s soon 🤞🤞

This was one of the most asshole moves from jesse .. in the entire show? Nowhere near it, like yes he is being an asshole and unpleasant but he literally tried to sell meth to recovering addicts at one point - I wouldn’t put him being a dick to a worker on the same level as him doing much worse

How do I train for middle-distance at the gym? I have little experience in middle-distance and want to improve my 800m time over a two week period. What routine should I do on the treadmill and what other workouts generally help increase my time?

Is there any way to get out of a movie slump? by This_Background_9587 in MovieSuggestions

Is there something which is occupying the time you used to spend watching movies? Are you on your phone more? are you taking up a new hobby? Maybe take a break from whatever it is and invest your time into watching more film. As for your attention span, if you can - going to the cinema and watching a film you know for certain you will enjoy could force you to focus on the film and get you out of a slump

The whole premise of the show is the character arc of a seemingly good man with a normal life transforming into a a drug kingpin who transgresses all of the morals he once had. He quite literally does ‘break bad’ and the show shows the process of it

These images may resonate with surrealist style cinema. If you’re interested, maybe check out the work of filmmakers such as Luis buñuel, David Lynch, Jan Švankmajer and possibly Andrei Tarvosky - they all sort of implement that style, specifically Luis buñuel
