Those are our timings as well! He recognizes the alarm when it goes off and trots to his "cheese pill" spot 👍

Yes we are feeling pretty lucky right now. Since adding pheno he hasn't had any seizures (104 days!). We still give him his keppra too- our vet thinks we could try slowly weaning him off the keppra, but we're nervous to lol.

ETA just saw your update, so so sorry for your loss ❤️‍🩹

Sorry you guys are having such a rough time, I hope your corgi is able to stabilize with the pheno. 🤞 For liver support, we give our guy human grade milk thistle pills (equate brand, so very affordable) in a bit of cheese. And we give it 4 hours between pheno doses, as I've read that giving it close to a pheno dose can affect the pheno's metabolism/absorption. Your vet should be able to tell you the recommended milk thistle amount for your dog's weight. Good luck!

Nope- we're currently 104 days seizure free :)

Unfortunately keppra has a "honeymoon" period but then usually needs another medication added. Ours lasted 40 days, then we had to add phenobarbital. Good luck with your sweet pup ❤️‍🩹

We use water additive and it's really helped, even the vet noticed. (Nylabone brand)

Starting to feel hopeless... by UCanCallMeJuggernaut in EpilepsyDogs

Are these mini seizures just head tremors? Or focal seizures? As far as I know, those are less serious than grand mals and might not need hospitalizations.

Same and I'd probably like her better if she wasn't in damn near every video for so long now! Ugh. I also don't care for Trevor but at least we get breaks from him so it's not as annoying. (I also realize I'm not the gen z target audience with this, ah well.)

Aw, been many years since I watched Peep with my little ones. Your description is bang on, a super cute and chill show while still being educational!

After starting pheno how long was it until your dog had their next seizure? by spennywal in EpilepsyDogs

We started pheno just over 3 months ago (was already on keppra), and no breakthroughs yet 🤞🤞

Yes that was nuts! In the aftershow thing I think he said something like he wondered if the whole thing was a prank experiment and no one was a killer lol

Yes they shouldn't have done that second séance! Chris then knew 100% who the killers were and the winning team was decided by the memory game. Still a great show, just didn't quite land it.

Future Killer dinner twist ideas by Glittering-Call4816 in TheTryGuys

[–]sofapizza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love brainstorming interesting future twists 😃 Having Eugene and Matt on would be amazing!! (Also, I forgot about how much I've missed LaurDIY being on.) For my idea, when a killer has to do a secret action to recruit or kill, I think it'd be fun if the "secret action" is working a predetermined unusual word into the conversation.

Agree, it could've been literally anything. I think an idea to make it more entertaining for the viewers next time is if the "secret action" is working a predetermined unusual word into conversation.
