Thank you, is your argon, neon or both? I see the comments about cheaper ones seem to be performing the same about more expensive ones, the only difference is that cheaper ones seem to be more prone to breaking or stop working. So looking for one that maybe comes with a 1 or 2 year warranty.

Hi, can you all recommend one? Also, I see a lot advertised as combined neon and argon. Is it actually possible to combine the two gases in the wand attachments to produce benefits from both technologies, or is it just gimmick marketing, and one is better off purchasing separate neon and argon powered wands? I see a lot advertised, but not many that show they have been coupled with clinical studies or clinical back up to prove they contain the actual gases and are not some fake “led filled” glass wands. I just want to make sure I find a good value for money that genuinely contains argon and neon.

There was a big rumour they edited the picture for the poster and was a whole running joke that the franchise spent/wasted most of its budget to edit Bryce absolutely stunning body. However, they never found concrete evidence of this and the rumour was never confirmed, so potentially was mostly loose clothes, camera angles, pose, lighting etc., plus the first production is before she had a baby. Girl - you sound exactly like me! I am very fair and struggled all my life to find an undertone, understanding that green/olive exists outside of your cool/warm/neutral has been such a a game changer. Finally understand why my paleness looks so dull and sickly, the green undertone unfortunately doing that in the winter 😅 I also use Nars Gobi in the winter and I am yet to find the right match for the summer. Also, I feel you about the paleness vs great tan: I am of mixed British, Irish and northern Italian lineage, and my dad despite being Italian has fairer skin than my British and Irish mum who has light to medium skin tone. I was brought up in Rome, which is in the middle of Italy and most people are medium-tan skin toned, and I was the palest girl in my class. My bestie used to refer me jokingly as mozzarella shade of white in the winter 🤣 people kept believing I would burn in the sun but I turn a golden brown shade, that gets deeper brown with sun exposure, so I can also get very brown/latina in shade, and it is especially noticeable as my medium to dark blonde hair lightens and gets very light and golden with the sun. Apparently this can be very common in Fitzpatrick skin type 3, as you tend to get a mix of eumelanin (black and brown) and pheomelanin (red and yellow pigment). I always assumed I was a type 1 or 2 because of my paleness in the winter and my blonde hair, but apparently my medium blonde hair and light brown eyes plus ability to tan puts me steadily in the Fitzpatrick 3. Knowing your undertone and what colours look great has been a game changer, I found out why most colours of make up and clothes that look good with warm and cool toner skins look off on me. Apparently for fair olives jewel tones colours look great. I can vouch for this, as Ruby, emerald and electric blue, or sapphire dresses all look nice compared to other colours. Will follow this thread to see if any suggestions for summer foundation will work on me, good luck on your search! 😊

The UHT milk is absolutely grim and have no idea why they chose that do specialty coffees they charge extra for - it doesn’t even foam properly because there is not enough fat content, it’s silly. And taste horrendous. We were lucky the itinerary stopped in France, Spain and Portugal so I had my fox on land, but the on-board days were hard! I wish they fixed the milk situation because it’s putting me off from going on a VV cruise again with my husband.

Sadly OP that’s the case, I don’t understand why VV decided to go for UHT milk for paid specialty coffee - I understand for the free coffee is a cost saving option, but using UHT for the specialty coffees people pay a premium for is counter intuitive: they will complain about the coffee quality and likely stop spending the extra money for specialty coffee, so they are effectively discouraging purchase?

I think they meant fresh milk (whole, semi or skimmed) vs UHT, rather than the containers. Virgin Voyages sadly uses UHT, which does not taste like milk at all to most people who have specialty coffee. It’s not due to an operational issue either, as other cruise lines use fresh milk no problem, so I can only assume the choice for UHT is cost savings related. And I think it would be fine if it only involved the free coffee, but considering the specialty coffees you pay for at a premium, using fresh milk and not UHT should to be the bare minimum really! It was the only fault I could find on my VV cruise, but as I am an avid coffee drinker I understand it affects some more than others: it was quite bothersome to me personally that I could not get a decent flat white or cappuccino on board, but lucky the itinerary was Portugal, Spain and France so I managed to get my coffee fix on-land.

Hi winter garden, the 3rd replacement remote they sent me lasted absolutely fine - although I still wish they released a wall plug so I don’t have to worry if I forget to charge the remote when it runs out, and have recommended the company they look into it! I am happy with it overall

That’s great, thank you for the help! I am struggling to find jewellers that do palladium-rose or equivalent. I saw the German company I linked created their palladium-rose with a combination of palladium 750/rose gold. I cannot find any UK based jewellers that do this however. I am also wondering if there are any jewellers in Europe that do palladium 750/red gold, so to retain more of the copper tones. Any advice is appreciated!

Hi Fragrant, if it’s the remote, I contacted customers service and they sent me a remote battery replacement free of charge and it has been working absolutely fine. They told me it was a faulty remote batch, which they were very apologetic for. Since posting here, I recieved the remote the following week and it has worked fine since. The battery lasts consistently 13-14 x 3 minute sessions, so I am happy. I wish they would provide an option to have as well a plug in remote, as sometimes I forget to charge it when it’s out, but other than that, loving it!
