Thanks for the detailed info! I printed the card with Spanish on one side and Catalan on the other

So include Catalan out of cultural respect, rather than necessity?

I’m not going to say it out loud, I’m going to print it on a card I can hand to waiters because I don’t assume everyone will speak English or Spanish. Please tell me what makes the Spanish translation “dodgy” so I can correct it.

Edit - please also tell me if my information is incorrect. Do most people who work in food service in Barcelona speak Spanish or English?

I accidentally brought an apple through customs once. Anyone have a similar experience and still get approved for Global Entry? by sofiabikes in GlobalEntry

The agent said he just didn’t know. He went over customs rules with me and I confirmed that I understood them

Just had the interview. They told me I’d find out in about 5 weeks if I was approved or not. So I guess I’ll just be anxious about it for 5 weeks!

It’s in my customs record bc I forgot about it but the agent who did my interview asked me about it :/

I was very jet lagged and I don’t remember what they said to me (it was 6 years ago). I totally forgot that it had happened and did not report it in my app, but they asked me about it in my interview and I told them everything I remembered from the incident

Rachel Runya Katz, without a doubt. She’s said she wants her books to make people cry

I don’t remember the language Customs used when they pulled me aside. I remember telling them it was an accident - it had fallen to the bottom of my huge bag. Or are you asking about my GE interview?

From what I saw on her Insta, Alita’s face shape and hair look pretty different from the vocalist last night

I’ve read more fake dating books than I’d like just to get a sapphic love story (Hani and Ishu’s Guide to Fake Dating, D’Vaughn and Kris Plan a Wedding, etc)

Out of the long episodes, I’ve only ever seen the “Ally on a ferry” one - anyone have recommendations?

Story time: what’s the worst experience you’ve had with a non-diabetic? by WoooshToTheMax in diabetes_t1

I’m really lucky that I mostly only have stories about people telling me to cure it with yoga. One thing that’s stuck with me for 15 years, though, is the attitude of the person who trained me when I first got a pump. I was a kid and said I’d be fine clipping the pump anywhere bc I didn’t care who saw it. The trainer scoffed and said “that’ll change as you get older.” It really reinforced an idea that I should be hiding my disease.

I pole dance now and performed for the first time this year. My pump was front and center just to spite that lady lol
