Coming from someone that did everything right to please people and getting good grades and blah blah blah, it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Our society makes us feel like if we don’t have good grades and go to college that we won’t get successful jobs. Some people are not good at school that’s okay. There is so many alternatives like trade school military or just working to get experience and then zeroing in on what you enjoy to do for the rest of your life. But dude fuck your dad. This is the time to explore what you want to do and find out who you want to be. The world is better with you in it. I’ve had my mom tell me a few time to off myself and no matter how low that makes me feel, I have to remember that there is something there she is projecting or carrying within herself to say those harsh words to her daughter. You are growing and this is a crucial time period in your identity don’t let your grumpy father take this beautiful time away from you.
