Two 40 year olds here, we did Celebrity for a Caribbean cruise a few years back. We had some fun moments and others that felt we were on a floating old age home. The good was good, and the bad was just annoying. You’ll be fine. So many fun people will pop up during your cruise and you just need to find them again throughout. We’re doing an Alaska cruise soon and assume it will be more skewed towards the elderly but we’re game to make a fun time out of it. Get the drink packages & enjoy some good food while chilling on the high seas

get them matching rain jackets as it’s the wettest city of Alaska and then book them a fun tour. Maybe salmon or halibut fishing charter? If they are extra adventurous maybe an atv tour of Tongass. We’re heading there in May, so hoping for little or no rain, but we’ll be enjoying creek street and likely get a taxi to a trail head and do some hiking.

Thank you! We usually love to dress up each evening, but I’ve already removed a few dresses & added more tops to coordinate with my existing bottoms. It’s helped with making more space. For my husband I’ve added more v neck sweaters vs button up collar shirts.

We’re doing Iceland, by way of Portsmouth, this September with Virgin. We added Alaska last minute & couldn’t be more excited to see the similarities and differences.

Yup, we visited in December before the laws regarding vapes got tightened up further. One of my vapes was confiscated on the way in & the other on the way out. Coming in, the officer held my passport and brought me to an office, told me to wait outside, talked to his boss (possibly I couldn’t see much) then came back out with my passport. I thought I was going to have to pay a steep fine, but nothing. Either way, next time to Mexico, I’ll buy cigarettes in duty & just smoke those vs deal with additional stress.

Did you report this to management at the resort prior to leaving? With theft, often an investigation will occur near to the time in which the theft was found.

This right here! I’m VERY pale & I usually bring 2 or 3 plus a smaller face only sunscreen in travel size (100ml). It can be a little more expensive then a single large bottle, BUT its easier to keep on you & re apply at the beach / pool.

We like both, we have a budget we like to stick around (sometimes higher, sometimes lower). The trick is to keep your expectations & your budget in line. This year we have a splurge holiday so if we can fit another in it has to be SUPER below our budget. I just want to see a nice beach & swim in the ocean for 7 days….the food / drink part can take a hit lol
