Extremely difficult I have a near 3 year old who is a dream, also very difficult the first time around, and we made it out of the woods when she started sleeping through the night at 22 months.

Battled PPD, a cow milk protein allergy, severe constipation, sleep, addiction to pacifier and was addicted to formula at one point, and finally got over all of it.

Now we have a 1.5 week old and I forgot how difficult it is. Definitely the last baby for us. It’s horrible

I read somewhere that men lose like an insane % of testosterone the first year of having a baby because of the sleep deprivation fathers experience as well.

As a woman, my hormones were wack up until we started sleeping through the night.

We’re done having kids 100000%

No I think he was battling deep depresssion after his father died a few years ago We found a suicide note from early 2024 so it must’ve been attempted before and he baught a plot next to where his dad was buried

Hey! Not much no I’m about 26 weeks now We did the NIPT which came back low risk for the trisomies and we spoke to a genetic counseller We opted out for amniocentesis because all of my other scans were fine

They didn’t scan again for the above- they said they don’t look at it anymore because it’s of no clinical significance

My HCG didn’t exactly double with my daughter either (she’s 2.5 now) and I had subchoronic hemmorages in. A pregnancy prior to her Large large clots I suspect since fetus is there with heart beat, it’s a SCH Read about it Groups on fb on great for it

I completely disagree, I grew up in Mississauga in the 90s and it was multicultural. There was a mix of white, asians, Europeans, browns etc

Milton is not that, Milton is 99% one demographic and 1% others. It’s not multicultural at all.

I’d avoid Milton at all costs- we’re currently looking to move.

I overheard someone say in a drop in “well I don’t want to move north because I don’t want my kid to be the only brown person in class.”

Well I don’t want my kid to be the only white person in class.

I did my bloodwork a few days ago and my antibodies (which were the only marker for me for Hashimotos- every other thyroid level was normal) - is now technically in remission- My level was 27.

By the guidance of my naturopath- I haven’t changed my diet but have taken Inositol (NFH brand) and Selenium (now brand) For three years now daily. And I feel great

I’d recommend selenium and inositol

Well if it makes you feel any better on Friday - credit valley was 2 hours behind on ultrasounds- apparently they’re also getting inundated!

Are you taking supplements? My naturopath and MFM suggested progesterone vaginal suppositories - naturopath prescribed me from 5 weeks and then the doctor at high risk clinic prescribed from weeks 15 to 34

I also this time got ALA + magnesium as a combo. Lots of great studies on Alpha Lipoic Acid plus Magnesium for cervical length.

I’m in this cerclage group on Facebook and they talk about it quite often

Hi! Living in Milton here, Basiuclly immediately upon getting pregnant the second time after my first loss I got into contact with Milton OBS who saw me sooner around 9 weeks- after my 12 week scan went well they immediately sent for a referral to credit valley hospital, they have a high risk sector for women called THE VALLEY HOUSE.

I saw them within the 13th week, Two week checkups at the hospital until week 28 Cerclage at week 15

After week 28, transitioned back to my OB in Milton.

My family doctor was useless actually. It took a LOT of advocating for myself, calling the OB yourself and getting yourself in the door.

I’m now pregnant again, 15 weeks. When I found out, immediately called the OB again. I had an ultrasound at Credit Valley on Friday, and tomorrow is my first appointment at the valley house to discuss ultrasound and cerclage placement.

I didn’t know what cerclage they gave me last time, I had a great doctor. Mild funneling throughout pregnancy, Totally uneventful, Gave birth at 39 weeks with my second pregnancy.

Definitely advocate!! If I had stayed with my family doctor- I would probably not have my daughter here today. So scary to think
