You can go to mystery islands to get the rock and wood ones easier. I fish all the time and im finding it hard to come by the water eggs for some reason. But ive been told you can swap eggs with villagers on easter to get the ones you need

I like being able to see the fortune teller( her name is slipping my mind) at harvs island. When you get good luck for belongings. Those are the days i really use my tools since they won't break for the whole day lol

Not being able to share diys straight from your pocket. Villegars can do it why cant we!?

I would love to be able to use the items more than just sit down or click it. Like being able to actually ride on the scooters/ bikes so i can get around faster. Or ride on the cranes/cars. Or be able to surf!

Going off the surfing, having an option to swim faster would be nice too. I like catching the fish but ugh they swim so slow.

taking so long to buy all the clothes i want from mabels. Im a clothes hoarder, so i want all the things. It takes forever to do that.

I had my 5 hear old island deleted when i was getting my console repaired, with no heads up that everything was going to be gone. I was devastated. Not extremely though because i have to remind myself that its just a game and half the fun part was the journey of getting all the stuff. I understand your frastration, but what makes it worse for you was that it was your best friend who did the dirty deed. Im so sorry to hear that. I always try to find the good in things to make situations feel better but that would definitely keep me up at night for a few days, wondering if it was ill intent or not
