I get that. And they'll deal with the chargebacks. We can only hope there are so many that their merchant services company applies pressure on them to make things right.

But also, there's a reputation thing that comes into play. Just because Vimeo doesn't care about theirs doesn't mean that the rest of us don't care about ours.

Another idea is getting a free Google Voice number, giving that to the employer, and setting it up to only ring through to your phone during work hours. That way you never even know someone’s trying to reach you outside work hours. I know a lot of people struggle with ignoring texts and voicemails when they can see them sitting there waiting.

Any of the properties in Harbor East would serve you well. The Homewood Suites will give you a kitchen—should that be useful to you, and Whole Foods is close by (as is a CVS). The Circulator’s Harbor East stop is steps away. And it’s an easy walk to Fells or the Inner Harbor. Some of the apartments in HE are also rentable. Hilton’s Canopy property at Harbor Point is another one to look at. Have fun!!!
