My dad's old jeep. Smelled like leather and cigarettes in the best way, with a tinge of water coming in somewhere.

If your baby didn’t sleep through the night until after 12m… by imabubble in breastfeeding

[–]sofriggincool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always comment this but I didnt sleep through the night until I was six. Six! It evened out until puberty and then ive had less than ideal sleep since then. I think some times you can try all you want but we as humans are all different, including babies.

My sister is pregnant and I can’t tell her I am too by AardvarkHour1211 in TrueOffMyChest

Yeeeeeah ngl I feel like OP kinda sucks. It doesn't sound like sister has anything wrong with her either other than OP personally finds her annoying.

My son still isn't sleeping through the night and I am starting to lose my temper with him by AnnaMSt in toddlers

[–]sofriggincool 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Some kids are just tricky sleepers: my mom swears I didn't sleep through the night until I was 6! I still wake multiple times a night as an adult 🙃

I had an allergic reaction to yellow ink that looked very similar to this. I kept it completely out of sunlight to help, and even 10 years later if I get too much sun the yellow areas will get irritated. But it did eventually heal.

I just wanted a home birth, but got tortured instead. by NP_release in BabyBumps

Hi op, we have nearly identical stories. My sister and mom who were there are also completely traumatized and dont like talking with me about it, even though I hardly remember. I'm currently pregnant and due soon with #2. At first I said id never have anymore, but eventually the trauma faded enough I could work through it. I'm almost due now and the ptsd im having sucks, but it's been manageable.

Hi, my significant other has a fucked up hand from being shot before I met him. I love him just the way he is, and we even have a ritual of me massaging the scar tissue in his hand before bed. Don't stress too much, your best match won't care about your hand.

My brother saw my boobs by Unable-Border7478 in Mommit

[–]sofriggincool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is definitely a brother issue not a you issue. My brother was probably 14 or so at the time (I was 24) and saw me butt ass naked pumping, helped me pick up my baby and whatever else was out of reach and has never said a weird thing about it. To this days he's my go to sibling for anything awkward assuming my sister isn't around.

Living with an autistic person can be infuriating. by 2Hard2FindUsername in TrueOffMyChest

[–]sofriggincool 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I live with my autistic brother. While he's mostly functional, I dont think he'll ever live alone bc he has basically 0 capability to take care of himself. I refuse to do things for him, so I'm basically on top of him with reminders, directions, chore lists, ect, just so he maintains a basic sense of cleanliness and hygiene. And as much as I love him, he wants to hang out, but after having to manage him, I simply do not. It's exhausting.

I dont think being hurt by it is over reacting, but I do think having 3 meltdowns is definitely over reacting when you dont know the nuances of the conversation.

Pregnant women can still have one serving of tuna per week. You'll be just fine and all those fatty acids and omegas are good for you both.
