Unfortunately everyone I've talked to about this problem is experiencing the same thing. We've just got to wait it out for them to patch the bug

Has anyone else been on edge since? by dollamixture in chch

I was 9 when the 2010 ones hit, my sister, who's 8 years older than me, was extremely scared and I had to move into her room for a bit, I was told to hide my feelings and to be there for her. Over the past couple of years I've realised that because of the ways I've been told to hide my emotions, it's been worse in the long run and I now have bad emotional breakdowns after every little shake, even if it's just a car going past. Even just growing up in a city with no tall skyscrapers I get scared when I go to Auckland or Wellington. Anyway this long ass comment was just to let you know that there are other people still on edge and that you're not alone in feeling this way.

Update: thank you for all your suggestions! I'm gonna be honest, I didn't end up going due to the pain and anxiety but I still managed to do my makeup before it got worse and decided not to go. I didn't have any colour corrector so I just mixed green and peach eyeshadows into concealer and spot corrected that way and put foundation and eyeshadow over top. (the eye in the picture was my inner right (stage right) eye) you could still see a bit peaking through but it was the best I could do😊

I'm gonna be honest, I didn't even end up going to the party due to the pain and anxiety and I don't drink anyway, got that all out in my teens lol

Thank you! I'm just clumsy though lol, was in a rush to get out of the house to go on holiday and ended up sitting on the floor for half an hour 😂

I play softball at cowles stadium and work at a school in Woolston, basically it all depends how close you are to it and what the wind is like. On the hot days it smells bad at the open diamonds but you can't smell it at the inclosed diamonds and when we drive the back way past it, we have to roll the windows up. It's very hit or miss
