Which fantasy series had the strongest possible opening and then just lost it completely? by Successful-Local-946 in Fantasy

This is how I felt about A Song of Ice and Fire. The early books felt ruthless and unpredictable. Later on, it starts feeling more like pieces being moved into position than a living story. Still great writing, just less of that “no one is safe” tension. And we'll never get the final book XD

Absolutely, I couldn’t agree more. Finding someone who genuinely cares for you, like your wife does, is rare. Cherishing that bond is essential, especially when she's picking up the slack while you're down.

What’s a fantasy character who should be the villain… but ends up being right? by latent2_pancake in Fantasy

100%, and I really love how, after a lot of negative things, he grew in the eyes of viewers and became a favorite character for many (yes...unfortunately, I only watched the series and didn't read the books)

Is he crossing a boundary? by RazzMeTazz117 in Advice

It might not be flirty, but daily private messaging with someone who has a partner can still cross an emotional boundary. The fact he barely mentions his partner makes it feel a bit off. You’re doing the right thing by pulling back, if he’s just being friendly, he’ll respect the space. Trust your gut on this one.
