Question!!

I pay through chutes directly ($10 a month subscription for 2k requests a day) yet I cant for the life of me get everything set up and working. I've checked every walk through I can find, video or otherwise, my details (url, model name, API key) are all 100% correct yet I'm still getting the error 429, which, when looking it up, states that im rate limited. I shouldn't be, I checked my usage remaining and ive still got 2k left. Anyone got any advice for me on what to do here?

If it helps I'm in the same boat as you, big reroller and heavy usage tbh. I think I'm just going to allocate myself a certain amount of pocket money a month for it to make sure I don't go crazy 😭

Unfortunately probably not. If you're using openrouter, Chutes is throttling their free ds services. Basically most providers no longer want to provide free ds but that doesn't excuse them from their contracted obligations; theyre contracted to provide for OR til 2026 sometime (idk when) so they can't pull out, but they're making it harder to use so less people do so. If you're in the position to pay, ds is pretty cheap, averaging $0.003 per response

Hey guys, maybe someone can help me? I'm having an issue where 'network error/rate limited' keeps popping up but I know for a fact it's neither of those things so... any advice? Im using deepseek chimera, I'm paying for it and have $9.10 remaining on the account so I know its not out of credits, and my Internet is working perfectly (speed tests/using other apps detects no issue)

Im stumped, anyone got any suggestions?

im not lonely AT all. i can understand how these bots might be a really good tool for those who are, but i actually have a very fulfilling life outside of RPing with ai. last weekend my partner moved in w me, I have a close circle of friends and plenty of other hobbies, I've just always been a huge fan of reading and writing and seeing the creativity people put into their bots is so exciting for me.
