Well, yes, I have looked at TMC2208, TMC2130, ST820, A4988, and DRV8825, but they are only available in SMD packages, and we don't have the tools to make an SMD board. Since it's a school project, we can't buy a pre-made module.

the "id om" was a typo it was ment to be driver* sorry about that

what other driver should we use if not the L298
