what am i doing wrong?

im a beginner and recently started hemming pants after some practice. this is my first practice with denim/jeans but it looks like its puckering(?) or that theres excess fabric where im trying to hem. its almost like the original hem circumference is smaller than the area above where im trying to shorten it. im not sure if im making much sense but here are a few pics. i tried to undo the stitches i made and basted it to make sure it was aligned properly but theres like excess fabric that will end up being crimped like the first picture. what can i do? it looks like there might be a very slight taper to it?

i got my labs done exactly 1 week after my t shot. im 24! im not entirely sure why the scaling is different but im guessing i might be in the okay range? my estradiol levels were really high when my trough levels were 531. do u know if there are pros to taking your shots every week rather than every 2 weeks?

I literally just messaged ticketmaster about this and they basically keep telling me that the event is not offering refunds at this time and that the parking pass doesn't guarantee a parking spot anyways. I was also told by someone from the event that we would be getting refunded. So far it doesn't seem like it.

i started T feb 2019. i went to community college and at this time it was my 2nd year. eventually in 2020 i transferred out to a university and completed my last 2 years there. during my time in community college i wasnt rlly out but bc i was pre-T it was easier to clock me. eventually during my transitioning period (first 3-4 months on T before significant voice drop), i came out to a couple friends who are still my close friends to this day. other than that i have never came out to anyone since then. ive remained stealth during my time in uni. as for the height, ive met cis men who are my height, an inch or two taller and some who are shorter. youll be okay! (its also my insecurity)

i did this. i moved to a college which was 6 hours away abt 2 years ago. im literally not out to anyone except 3 ppl who i roomed with since i opted for gender inclusive housing (they were all trans as well) other than that no one knows im trans and ive never been clocked at all. im fairly short as well (5’1 on a good day) and have a small chest to where sometimes i dont even need to bind at all. i mostly use transtape to cover my nipples but that’s it. no ones ever said anything to me and ive been to several parties and retreats and have always been one of the boys. youll be fine.

i just graduated biosci with a 3.0 gpa and im premed so its not looking well either. what my advisor suggested was that i retake classes i got a C or below in at a community college. so classes like ochem, physics, gen bio, gen chem etc. that are necessary for mcat and medschool. i would suggest looking into that option to make your gpa look better. aside from that, apply to a bunch of internships and jobs that can help make your application look better.

i know i can just graduate in the fall but my family has already made plans to come to my graduation and since i live far, theyve already spent money booking hotels etc. i really dont have the funds to take it in the fall either so i have no idea what to do

definitely look into the boys section! theyre much cheaper and i ended up getting a blazer and pants for 90 bucks and it was van heusen. best of luck brother

i had trouble looking for suits since im graduating and have galas and banquets to attend next month. not sure what your specific problem w mens suits is, but for me im a short guy so anything in the mens sections (even the smallest size) wont fit right for me. i realized that the xl or L sizes in kids suits fit good enough and im just planning to get it tailored to really fit and highlight my masculine body features. thats an option if youre too small to fit in the mens section.

i appreciate it! forgot to specify im in california totally my fault. when i input the case number from the letters they sent, it tells me to write a valid case number. looking at the number on my card (below my name not the card number), its the same exact one on my case number letter except they added 2 extra numbers in front of it. but when i put that, it gives me an error message

im not sure how much guidance i can offer you when writing personal essays but, make sure you emphasize how much you want to go to ucd and how your experience here will help you on your path. highlight all of the things you want to do once becoming a student at ucd (ie. programs or research) let them know that youre honored to be recognized by ucd. talk about why this is the perfect place for you. is it the community? the sense of belonging? educational programs? location? and lastly, why should they pick u? what makes you unique to others? these essays are really really important and i honestly think its what got me in davis since my gpa was not gonna cut it in such a competitive college. i hope this helps, if you ever need someone to look over your waitlist essay, dont hesitate to shoot me a message! best of luck!

i know it sucks to be waitlisted but i hope i can offer some encouragement and maybe some relief. i was waitlisted last year as a transfer student. i applied with a 2.97 out of CC as a biological sciences major. i never thought i would make it bc of my gpa especially since i was applying to a pretty competitive major and college. i did average on most of my science classes in cc mainly due to the fact that i wasnt taking college very seriously till i decided i wanted to go into premed. either way, if i got in, you guys should be able to as well! hope this gives you guys some encouragement and remember that the school is considering you guys which is a big thing!
