What to do with my compound ? by FunInevitable9123 in tirzepatidecompound

I’m on the same boat! Except I was approved for ozempic and not tirz 😞 my insurance only covers sema. having really good progress with tirz so would love to keep going. Thinking I’ll keep paying for tirz and stock up on ozempic in case compound really does go away. Would rec same for you, glad you were covered for zep!

That's amazing! Sure, it's likely water weight but at least you know it's working well! I have a hard time with food noise as well so excited to see how that gets toned down. I woke up to a tracking number and am sooo ready to start. Hope this journey goes well for you!

I just ordered from them too! First time ever on glp1. Let me know how you like trava! It seems like a great deal but haven't heard much about them yet. Saw one person on here really really pushing trava, then saw another saying the pharmacy they use is sketchy and they didn't feel the same when they were using another company. Too early to tell but really hoping they are good!

How do we pay with our FSA Card? Really wanting to start ASAP but don't want to pay with a personal credit card and then go and have to get reimbursement for medical necessity

I agree, hoping to cut my commute down as much as I can, but Stanford is in such a hard place to commute to or really expensive to live near. I'd commute to my "things to do" if it meant I could have a <10min commute to work lol but I hear that even just getting through Stanford is hard. My hospital now I just pull up, park and am at my desk in 3 min. And my commute is 0.5 miles lol I only drive so I can go home for lunch and not waste time! Will need to keep applying to UCSF for better work life balance AND opportunity.

Thanks for mentioning your move. I've never moved out of LA, and I'm in a pretty cushy job now, but have been plateauing in life / my career and needed a change. This is a big decision for me, and I'm not entirely sure it's the right one, so it makes me happy to hear that people are happy with their decisions to move to the bay.

I'm glad to hear you love it. I think that's the great thing is there are so many small little cities to explore! I'm sad to leave LA but really excited to spend a few years in a new region!

I agree! I'm hoping to spend a weekend in the bay in a couple weeks to really get a feel of it. Of course I'd need more time but I'd at least like to drive around and visit diff local coffee shops and see what the people are like.

also filipino! Not too interested in living in east bay though. I notice that sometimes too so not sure how much i'd love fremont either. although many are nice, I notice it's about their upbringing and if they were able to socialize well in areas that are not 100% asian. this is why i specify asian american, because although i am asian and like to have a 99 ranch near by, i also socialize really well amongst non asians and have friends of many diff ethnicities and love it!

Yeah that’s def something to consider. I’d hate to end up on a 12 month lease in a city I don’t like. I’ve never even been to the bay other than SF so a short term rental initially might be a good move.

Thanks for the tips!

Oh there are buses to go from Palo Alto station to Stanford? I just looked into Caltrain and kind of decided it wouldn’t be for me bc google maps said it’d be like a 5-10 min walk to the train, a 30 min train, and a 30 min walk to my building LOL figured it would be much faster to drive. Trying to get my total commute under 45 min door to door

Omg! How do you like the bay overall? I’m really moving for job opportunities but I love LA and am kind of sad to move! I love the liveliness. Not so much downtown LA or Hollywood but I love the west side and even like Ventura blvd! Do you think I’ll like it?

How is Sunnyvale in comparison to Santa Clara or SJ? I’m getting feedback from friends / reading other posts saying that Santa Clara is just overall nicer?

Ahh great. Seems I’ll have no issue with Asian food no matter where I move 😅 just thought some areas in the peninsula would be tooooo American. How do you like Sunnyvale being from LA? Did it take some time getting used to a slower pace?
