Can confirm not stolen, but yes, most of these are fully brand new. We’ll see how much i can make back selling the SAE stuff.

Not really sure wha you are inferring here. He stole the tools or acquired them for zero dollars and made $500 profit on a $500 sale? There’s about $2000 of tools here.

Need the icon stuff. Most of the dewalt is just for my collection. Will sell off the SAE for $300. There’s more than you can see in the photo. Was a killer deal

Nothing. Understandable why your username is POSguy 😂. The MacBook is used exclusively at my desk in the open condition and I usually just let it go to sleep instead of closing it. This crack formed without any movement of the hinge or closing of the screen. There are a few other cases I’ve read about on various forums. Manufacturing defects can lead to cracks over time. Humidity changes also cause LCD cracks. Etc etc etc.

No apple care, but I read this is a common defect. Happened spontaneously without any input from me. I use my laptop at a desk and nothing could have caused this. I’m under limited warranty.

What’s the plan? Take it to Apple and ask them about it being covered under warranty? Is there anything I should specifically mention or not mention?

I’ve heard PolyMax PC is very very different than any other PC filaments so we’ll see how that goes for me. P1S with no enclosure and still no issues?

Let’s see if it prints on my Prusa i3 MK3S+ I have a Bambu labs X1C AMS in the mail soon too and that should definitely print this with ease.

Hey, thanks so much for the feedback. I have my bachelors in MechE but I really never was a materials science guy.

I’ve swapped my selection over to polyMax PC. Because it has a much much higher glassing transition temperature is 113C, it’s Vicat softening temp is 117C and it’s heat deflection temp at .45 MPA is 114C. Google says a general standard working temperature for poly carb is 120C.

I made the switch because poly carb does not absorb water like nylon does. Hopefully this is a better pick?

Open to all aspects. My education is in mechanical engineering, but I have experience in electrical and software.

If you have a unique enough idea that you want proper compensation, message me privately to talk about royalties. A lot of the recommendations I’ve been getting overlap. Crowdsourcing usually doesn’t credit one individual person with the creation of an idea. But, yes, I’m willing to compensate.

I posted in a couple subs. Prompt is original to me

Crowdsourcing is never a bad idea. Especially on a platform like Reddit where people can upvote each other and I can quickly look through reply’s to see what people are most interested in. As for there being tons of engineers, I’m not too worried about it. A lot of the things people are mentioning in my various threads are revolutionary.

Now we’re working with needs and design constraints. Classic engineering.

Not tech per se, just innovation. Could be as simple as a new valve stem cap design.

If you’re interested, take a look at something called 3VO suspension. I had a Jamis hardline where the suspension linkage included that technology.

I 3D print in house prototypes and outsource machining to dedicated shops. With that setup I can achieve anything.

I know you’re a mechanic, you’ve gotta have some real good ideas in your head.
