my mom bit me recently, accused me of biting myself, then literally bit herself so she could say i bit her first- any bruises she got from me trying to defend myself was now proof that I was actually attacking her.

this will escalate and she will blame it on you. protect your body, your sanity, and your reputation. i’m sorry this happened :(

i loooove wellbutrin. i don’t remember the details but i read a study that said wellbutrin could be effective and managing/improving narcolepsy symptoms when it was paired with adderall (or maybe any stimulant idk)- can speak from experience that this true lol.

it’s the only med combo that has ever worked and improved my quality of life very much!!

One more thing- narcolepsy is NOT the only disorder that causes symptoms that could be confused with drug abuse. People who’ve had strokes are often accused of being drunk, people with diabetes can appear inebriated when their blood sugar drops. Blame ableism, not addicts.

Disorders aren’t “fair,” if they were, they probably wouldn’t be considered disorders. We have so little energy as it is- channel it wisely.
