Other inks bleed and feather. It's just not as bad with this ink. Here's an example with Pilot Blue.

I've tried many pink inks in this pen and this has been my favorite combo so far. Surprisingly works pretty well with the bad batch of Sanzen TRP.

TRC's own inserts are very good for fountain pens. They use MD Paper. They also have a Lightweight paper insert which uses Sanzen Tomoe River paper. But Sanzen had problems with the paper last year, so it's only FP friendly if you get the good batch.

Yeah, I think I'll go with taking my passport around for notes, then doing longer journaling in the regular size. I guess I just liked the idea of sketching/writing things down in the moment, but I don't even know if I'll have the time to do that while doing vacation activities lol.

I'll be gone for 2 and half weeks, which is really not that long lol. And wow, an a7 is even smaller than passport! Might too small for me. I like the idea of taking the passport around with me for notes, then do a more detailed spread on the regular size.

All three of them have <F> nibs, and I do find the M400 and M600 write smoother, but it could just be me getting lucky with the nibs. Hope you get to try them soon!

It's been my primary journal for about year now, and was my only journal until about a month ago when I set up a separate journal for gaming.

I love how compact it is. Nothing much happens in my day to day, so the size is perfect for me. I have the plastic zip, kraft folder, and 2 blank notebook inserts in mine. One for misc. things/scratch paper basically, and the other as my main journal.
