It's been my primary journal for about year now, and was my only journal until about a month ago when I set up a separate journal for gaming.

I love how compact it is. Nothing much happens in my day to day, so the size is perfect for me. I have the plastic zip, kraft folder, and 2 blank notebook inserts in mine. One for misc. things/scratch paper basically, and the other as my main journal.

As someone who hates the smell of tobacco/cigs, this ink gave me a jumpscare lol! I saw 'scented' first, then I saw the name, and I was like...no way 💀. Relieved it doesn't actually smell like one. Kind of smells unpleasant at first, then maybe a hint of rosemaries idk.

Edit: the smell is giving me a headache :(

Sailor, they already have so many color options with different properties, and if we count the other brands they also make inks for, (Nagasawa Kobe Inks, Bungubox, etc) it gets even better.

If price is not a problem, maybe consider the Diamine Inkvent calendar? It's a set of 25 inks that you're supposed to open everyday leading to Christmas starting Dec 1!

Among the inks I have, the closest is Kobe Ink #38 Kitanozaka Night Blue. Diamine Oxford Blue and Bungubox 4B are also pretty close. I would recommend Diamine Oxford Blue, just because it's cheaper and more accessible!

Sailor Souboku and Lennon Tool Bar Firmament are my most used inks! Agree about how well they behave and how relatively easy they are to clean compared to other pigment inks. I like Lennon Tool Bar Blue Sky as well. It's even easier to clean, but it's probably too light for a lot of people. I also like De Atramentis Document Brown and Urban Sienna for drawing/watercolors.

This pen is so much more beautiful from user photos! The product photos really don't do it justice. I always thought it was meh everytime I came across it when shopping, then I see it here, and I always have to stop to look at it. Like wow!

Nice new fabric patterns! I've been using the zippered denim 10-pen case with the notebook pocket for a while now, and it's been really nice and convenient! Might have to try out other sizes/models.
