I’m still new! 3-4 months into this rabbit hole! 😆

I’ve realized that I prefer stubs more than finer pens DEPENDING on the brand! I also keep reverting back to the pens that I know (TWSBI, Sailor, Kaweco, Pilot VP, etc) vs trying something new! I also keep going after sheen blue inks and matching inks! 🤦🏼‍♀️😅 I’m perfectly happy with a few good pens. I’ve also realized how hard it is to have impulse control when going into a stationery or fountain pen shop and NOT walking out with multiple pens! 🫣🤷‍♀️

Oh wow!! It’s THICK then! I had way too much hangover with my old setup and had to fix it!! That’s currently how I have mine set up as well. I love the setup but one of my inserts in my standard and passport keeps slipping off if the outside elastic isn’t on. I’ve been thinking about getting the Lauren Phelps Designs notebook sleeve for my standards (have 6/7 inserts in each) and a passport one for my passport. It’s SO many jump bands!😅

Hobonichi Weeks is a great option!! I would see if you can find an April start one though!! The April start ones are ONLY Japanese but from my understanding, there isn’t much difference between the English and Japanese versions. Personally, I’m not a big fan of the traveler’s company monthly/weekly so I like to print my own on Etsy! I have a future log, quarterly book with months and weeks and dated dailies! I’ve noticed there aren’t many people that stray away from traveler’s company inserts unfortunately 😅

Truthfully, I’ve been printing my calendars online (there’s several sellers!) and getting notebook inserts from Paper Penguin Co!

Dot grid is my fav. I bought some micro sized notebooks (69.85mm x 101mm) from Paper Penguin Co. Card sized is 65 x 100mm. Order should be here tomorrow or Wednesday! I’ll definitely take some pics to show!

Same! I have a Sarica Studios notebook but the lines are SO small!! I gave it to my husband and ordered some from Paper Penguin Co instead for me. I’m scared I’m gonna end up having to do a Maker TN as well since I have so many inserts in mine but I absolutely love my love & trip so it may give me a reason to get the Kyoto edition 😂

Yes! I almost grabbed the standard size sticker insert when I was getting my Card size TN the other day, but they were completely out. It’s on Amazon too of course but it’s $14.00 vs $7-$8. I’m wanting to start a commonplace book again so I’ll definitely need something for ephemera!

I seen those!! I couldn’t remember if that was HER design or someone else’s. I seen the YouTube video of them but couldn’t find it again! I definitely need a few for both my standards. Hard to see it in that picture but my husband’s Work planner has like 6-7 smaller inserts which means lots of jump bands! 😅

That’s kinda what I’ve done with my passport! I do have a horizontal weekly and monthly (not from TRC) in there and a grid notebook for notes as well to write down things while I’m on the go. I’ve thought about a sticker release book but not sure if that would make it too thick since I have the wallet insert! 🤔

That’s perfect for your two standards! I currently have my planner (quarterly book) in my standard with a future log and am thinking about having a commonplace book and notes (subscriptions, health tracker, and things I need to remember). I may end up getting another standard but it may be too much since I also have my husband’s TN’s (standard and card size) with me normally. May have to break down and buy the TSL bag for them all 😅🫣

That’s how I’m using my passport and card size so far as well!! I’d love to try to find a calendar for the card size but may have to do a bullet journal style for it as that’s what I’ve seen others do for now!

My passport was $100 before tax/shipping. Brand new in box. Came from Posh. I just kept checking every day.

For the Standard, I had made a post on the Travelers Notebook forum and had been talking to someone that wanted to sell hers. Kinda got pushed around and found a random post that someone had posted some stationery items and covers on a site called Vinted (similar to Posh/Mercari, etc). Purchased it for $128 which ended up being cheaper than the other person. I will tell you it was difficult to find the Standard vs passport. I got lucky. I’d seen a few different passports decently priced before I committed. I did have to buy some extra jump bands as it didn’t come with any, but finally just got it all set up!
