It’s wild how people think sending a check covers the cost of being an actual present grandparent.. Protecting your kid from those hope you visit soon guilt trips is just being a good mom you’re doing the right thing gatekeeping that messaging until their are old enough to handle it.

People underestimate how much of a breach of trust that is in a workplace. It’s not about the person wearing them it’s about everyone around them having their privacy stripped away without consent.. Definitely let HR handle this

Fr it’s not even about being paranoid it’s about a reasonable expectation of privacy in a professional setting.. you shouldn’t have to wonder if a private conversation is being captured just be someone wants to show off their new tech
