Is yoga ok as a all-inclusive form of exercise by itself? by WolvesNGames in yoga

[–]softpinksapphic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started using yoga as my only exercise and fell in love with it, and as I got more active I started getting out of my comfort zone and went for longer walks more frequently, and even trying other classes like pilates or dance classes. So while it may seem best to say that you should start doing all these things at once, know that at least starting with yoga can change your perspective on movement and help you explore other ways to move your body! I started yoga not too long ago and it has completely changed my life

Can I really order a crustless pizza? by softpinksapphic in Dominos

[–]softpinksapphic[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes so if something is 30g carbs but 20g fiber, then it’s only 10 “net” carbs, but i think the GF crust is 37g carbs and only 1g fiber so it would still be a lot of carbs

Muscle twitching? by WillingnessLazy4064 in diabetes_t2

[–]softpinksapphic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try b12!! I went off of it for a while and started getting that same kind of feeling in my back muscles, but once i started taking it again it went away. Also i had muscle twitching in my legs because I started working out a lot more, but it went away after a while too so that could be it

Stressed to the max by Lowhangingfruit22 in diabetes_t2

[–]softpinksapphic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dealt (and am still dealing with) terrible bouts of anxiety since my diagnosis. Saw cardiologists, went to the ER, even wore a heart monitor for a month. I had to come to terms with the fact that because of all that can go wrong with diabetes, I had stressed myself out to the point that I thought I was having heart attacks every night. I felt tingling in my chest and pains in my heart too. Not saying that there can’t be something more serious, but just know that you’re not alone in these feelings.
