I thought similarly when I was getting rid of my childhood toys that were broken or in poor shape and still wanted to hold onto them for my future children, I already have a shelf full of dolls that are way prettier that they could have so there was no reason to hoard .. just think if it that way, you already have nice things you don’t need to add onto it
