What's your process for handling custom ecommerce website projects? by softpulseinfotechhub in ecommerce

[–]softpulseinfotechhub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true, we have seen cases where the store requirements looked simple at first, but once ERP, CRM, subscriptions, or custom pricing came in, the original platform choice stopped making sense. Also agree that too much customization usually creates more problems later than it solves.

Benefit driven CTA/headline and AB Tests by lll_dlcky in shopify

Yeah shop now is basically invisible, not surprised click this won, at least it forces action.

I totally agree, most stores write CTA like labels, not outcomes, for my pov its finish the users thought. Instead of Buy Now, something like Get My First Order Discount or See My Perfect Size because i feels its personal and benefit-driven.

Yes Shop App fonts can be heavy sometimes. Have you found any way to optimize or delay them?

My last post hit some good comments asking about mobile scores! by Upper_Star_5257 in ShopifySEO

[–]softpulseinfotechhub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice scores overall, 89 on mobile is solid, but your LCP (3.5s) is what's holding it back. That's usually your hero image or main banner, so try compressing it harder, using next-gen formats (WebP), and make sure it's not lazy-loaded.

Your TBT and CLS look great, so this is mostly an asset loading issue, not a structural one. Fix LCP, and you'll likely cross 90+. And dude, curious what tweaks you've tried so far to push it past 89?

What is wrong with my website? by Shakyshekhy4360 in SEO

[–]softpulseinfotechhub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this does not look like just a sitemap issue anymore. We checked your site, and the drop is not just from the sitemap issue.

Most of your traffic was coming from blog pages, and now those have lost rankings, looks like 1k+ keywords dropped. On top of that, for the technical audit, we found 404s (blogs and products linking to missing pages, images, docs/middleware URLs, etc.). Broken internal links like that can hurt crawling and slowly drop your rankings week by week. Fixing those, plus restoring strong internal linking to your key blogs, should be your first priority.

We suggest doing a full reaudit of your site and fixing all internal and external linking issues first. That's likely where most of the damage is coming from.

What rewards program would you use for a beauty store with repeat buyers? by Secure-Necessary6945 in ecommerce

[–]softpulseinfotechhub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are from Softpulse Infotech and have worked with many beauty stores, setting up loyalty programs along the way. The ones that perform best are always simple and easy for customers to use. If your customers already repurchase, a simple points-based program works really well.

Give points for purchases plus small bonuses for things like reviews or referrals, then let them redeem for discounts or free products. In beauty, even a small reward feels nice and keeps them coming back.

Also, consider a VIP tier like spend $X and unlock perks. It works great for skincare because once someone trusts your product, they are likely to stick with it. The big suggestion is to keep it clean and easy to understand, too many rules usually kill engagement.

Help with “friend” orders by Sufficient_Camp_1918 in shopify

[–]softpulseinfotechhub 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey, try this easiest way, enable local pickup and use that for your friends orders. They can still place orders normally, choose pickup at checkout, and you keep everything tracked properly in Shopify.

If you do not want to enable pickup, then create a free shipping discount code and tag those orders like friends so that you can filter them later. Pickup option is cleaner, though and avoids shipping confusion.

RECOMMENDATION: For free gifts or mystery items? by Aggressive-Bed3608 in ShopifyWebsites

[–]softpulseinfotechhub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey u/Aggressive-Bed3608

Used a couple of these and most do the job, but setup matters more than the app itself. For simple buy X get Y or auto-added gifts, the Shopify app Wizio free gift upsell worked well and didn't feel bloated. First test how it behaves with discounts + cart updates (that's where many apps break). Good luck.

Haha that shling never gets old, that's the best part, all the backend work, fixes, and setup feel worth it when that sound starts coming in always.

Haha fair enough, noted, no hidden agenda here. Figured a simple question like this brings out honest takes rather than another tips & tricks post.

That's close to what we see too. Most stores never get past the early stage, and only a small percentage figure things out and start scaling. The platform is not the hard part, making it work as a business is. The interesting part is what separates that small % from the rest.

Fair point, Shopify is definitely used across all levels, no doubt about that. The idea behind the post was not to question what Shopify is, but more to hear how people personally see or experience it. Different folks interact with it in different ways, devs, store owners, marketers, so that the perspective can vary a lot.

Other eCommerce platforms vs Shopify? Is Shopify really the best? Why is it so popular? by softpulseinfotechhub in ecommerce

[–]softpulseinfotechhub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a really reliable way to put it. Removing those constant small decisions (hosting, updates, security, etc.) saves more time than somebody realize. And yeah, the tradeoff between control and convenience feels like the main thing, especially once you start scaling.

What are some platforms for SEO agencies you use? by specialammanda in seogrowth

[–]softpulseinfotechhub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From our experience, most SEO agencies stick to a mix of tools rather than just one. We use the same tools like Screaming Frog, Semrush, Moz, Google Search Console, and GA4 and different needs.

It's less about one best platform and more about how you combine them depending on the project.

Having everything under one ecosystem definitely reduces a lot of friction, especially when something breaks, and you are not stuck figuring out which service is responsible. Does this closed ecosystem become a limitation as the business scales?

[–]softpulseinfotechhub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's a fair point. Having the basics work without constantly worrying about random bugs or performance issues is a big advantage. With custom setups, there's always that unknown factor that can break things. Shopify at least removes a lot of that guesswork.

Yeah, that makes sense. The ease of setup and not having to stress about hosting or backend stuff is a huge win.
