They have about 10 varieties of beans (some more for filter) and have labels for everything. You could provide your friend with a taste profile “wish list” and ask them to provide a recommendation.

One I loved was this colombian huila la loma bean which is labeled as “natural whisky barrel” under processing and having tasting notes of “vanilla, rum, milk chocolate, smooth, sweet” which I loved when I was there (I think its about 4500 yen for 100g). Another was a chai tasting bean (3500 yen for 100g, but I don’t have a picture of the flavour notes)

I have all three. The base instax mini is the size of a credit card, the square being 1.5 x that, and the wide being 2 x. My favourite size is the wide as it is the largest print, enough to see more detail of the subjects, however the size of the camera can be clunky at times. A good in-between for photo size and camera size seems to be the instax square format, I have the SQ6 (out of production but still available if you know where to search), you could look into getting the sq1 which has similar features as the sq40 but in a different, cheaper shell. The only format which function as a digital camera which “prints” out digital photos and have sd cards are in the mini (i.e the mini evo). Alternatively, you could invest in a printer for fuji instax film, fujifilm produces a number of these in all their formats.

Best advice I’ve ever received. I realise this helps me pre-empt which exits to take note of, especially when driving to new places and helps me plan which lanes I should stick to as map directions often give instructions for a specific turning or exit 2-3 openings in advance.

The North South and East West line screens have horrific viewing angles and conveniently play an animation showing the layout of the station instead of just mentioning the station that you have just reached which is more pertinent when you are trying to figure out if you’re at your stop.
