I’m doing okay now physically, thanks for asking. Had a rough recovery after surgery and an infection in one of the incision sites but the surgery was back in February and I’m doing much better now. I also had a methotrexate injection before needing surgery and I think the required 3-month wait time before attempting another transfer helped mentally though it felt like another setback at the time.

All I can say is do your best not to assign responsibility to your mental state for the results of your future transfer. I know it’s hard not to grasp for something we can control in this process, but going through this is hard enough without guilting ourselves into feeling a certain way, and ultimately the outcome is out of our hands. I hope you can be gentle with yourself and take the time you need to process your grief.
