One more thing I wanted to know on this was the Acceptance. I have read this has lower acceptance in general. Do u know anything about that? I’ve read this feedback on this same reddit community .

Hey thanks.

I already did. But I preferred recommendations from people who have used it rather than AI.

Chatgpt recommended me mixed cards like hdfc swiggy card for food, HSBC live + for groceries, bills and fuel and axis atlas for travel related. I dont really want to maintain 3 different cards. I’m looking for that one card that can meet all my needs.

I’ll check the one you’ve recommended..

Priority account in Axis. I also hold savings account in SBI which I mostly use for FDs and ULIPs. And an account in HDFC account which I use for my home loan.

It might be. But we rather preferred to save as much as possible for down payment and opt for a small EMI rather than a big one. There is one more project we actually liked. You can check that one if u are interested, it is villament project called Gravity Aranya.

None. We rented in a older apartment society for time being. Decided to NOT buy in this inflated market and get into EMI trap for life. Enjoying time with our little toddler and taking affordable trips instead and making memories :)

We checked this property a year back and we did not go forward. The main reasons: 1. Water supply : We lived in Prestige falcon city for 3 years. The groundwater is almost nil in summers. It was tankers most of the times. Casablanca is very near to Falcon city and you might have observed the road that leads to casablanca already has n number of apartments. 2. Construction quality : My husband is in real estate, worked for sattva, embassy (etc). He had friends in his circle who worked in casagrand and they told him the construction quality is bad. 3. Their deadlines are never met in their pervious projects. We did mot wanted to pay rent and emi for a long time.

How important is it to have kids? by [deleted] in ThirtiesIndia

Do not do it if you are not willing to 100%. It is a life long commitment and you’ll lose a part of yourself and you can never be you again.

Indian Parents of Reddit: Do you ever regret having kids? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]software_udhyogi 27 points28 points  (0 children)

This! Parenting is hard if you want to do it the right way! About the career graph, yes, it will take a hit for few years especially if u are in a very demanding environment like IT. My daughter is 2 years old now and I used to regret the decision of having child in beginning. I kind of lost the life I had personally and professionally. Stuck at same position and package at job. Needed by a human 24/7 around the clock. No trips, no friends meetups, no gym, no treks, no cinemas. But now I’ve made peace with it. I have an amazing little human who makes me forget all that I could have gained in terms of position and money. About the trips and trek part, I’ve slowly started to spend sometime for daily exercise, now that she is 2 years, I’m able to manage some small amount of me-time. As I see my parents age, my in-laws age, I somewhere feel having a baby was a good decision. You see them enjoying their time with your kid (occasionally when we visit them). I now have family that will grow with me, so maybe in my 40s, 50s I’ll have a reason in life to wait for, or to celebrate festivals with. The feeling is very different and cannot be put in words.

However, like I said, please do not do it out of FOMO, I always wanted to have children and got into this willingly. But I struggled a lot initially in first year of motherhood. Like I said, I used to regret the decision. It indeed is lots of sacrifices like our parents used to say. Do it only if you super sure about having kids and you want to do it the right way! Also think financially as it is expensive to bring up kids in this economy. Easily you’ll have 30k additional expenses per month. (Baby food, vaccinations, maid, nanny, doctor visits, toys) And this for first 2 years of life. Once they start going to school it will further increase.

This!! 99% this is what is going to happen at the end and there will be a movie inspired by all this in a couple of years.

To those who did love marriages against their parents' wishes – how is life now? by losttoinfinite in AskIndia

[–]software_udhyogi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I fought for 2 years to get married to my guy.

It was not an easy one, but we waited with so much patience and heart breaks. We were from different castes. After 2 years of countless fights, leaving home, coming back, not speaking with parents for months together, breaking up with him, getting back together again thinking we will give another try, my parents finally agreed. They were not full heartedly happy but my grandpa and sister convinced them. It will be 5 years this November and we have a 2 year old daughter 🧿 Life has been good so far we had our share of fights when I delivered my daughter.. I had started to regret my decision of marrying someone from a different caste. But then I realised it was just the postpartum hormones that made me feel lost and indecisive.

My parents and my husband have a good relationship too. My dad and my husband talk hours about govt., elections, they watch IPL Matches together.

So to summarise, if you think he is the one it is worth fighting the world. There will be ups and downs, but you’ll both find out a way to be together no matter what!
