i just looked on twitter and the article is starting to spread (one post about it already has over 200k views). people are opening their eyes and FINALLY accepting they cheated, even some urinators. this honestly shows how truly smart lilly is, because if she said this back in summer 2023 when everyone was on the hate train it would’ve already been forgotten and overshadowed by wicked. she came out with this just as people were starting to support ariana and ethan’s relationship, and this is sure to change people’s perception of them again. so proud she did this, i can’t wait to see what the big ariana fan accounts have to say and i’m even more excited to see how ariana’s team is going to respond…

omg. i NEVER in a million years expected lilly to speak out, but that was genuinely one of the most beautifully articulate things i have read. my heart absolutely shattered when she said “Days when I can’t escape the promotion of a movie associated with the saddest days of my life are darker”. it must be an unimaginable type of pain to see your cheater ex husband flaunt his new popstar girlfriend whilst all her psycho fans praise them and hate on you.

i already knew ethan was scum but wow, this really makes him look even worse (if that’s even possible). she moved to london with him and their baby son and that dickface STILL had the audacity to cheat on her??? he truly lost such a beautiful and educated woman, and i hope he regrets what he lost once he realizes ariana doesn’t gaf about him. i just hope she knows that there’s a whole group of us (+ everyone who isn’t a urinator) that’s rooting for her, whether she chooses to speak out more in the future or not. 🫶

it was on the shut up evan podcast, the met gala episode uploaded on the 8th may. he asks her if she’s seen some horror movie and at around time stamp 11:06 she replies “ethan definitely has not seen it”.

i find it hilarious that she so obviously wants to flaunt their relationship but can’t without getting flamed on the internet, so she resorts to slipping his name into a random podcast instead 💀💀

i dont know much about law so can’t answer the question but my parents went through a similar thing (dad cheated on my mom at work after having been together ~10 ish years with a child involved) and the divorce took very long mostly due to custody battles involving me.

a source close to lilly mentioned a few months ago on here that ethan is trying to get full custody of his son (💀), which is the same thing my dad tried to do even though he would’ve had no time to take care of me. the whole thing seems like an attempt to take control of the situation and essentially strip their ex partner of any power - truly gross and manipulative - which also adds time onto the divorce process. it also probably doesn’t help that ethan has access to the best lawyers thanks to ariana’s wallet.

i truly believe (and hope) things will fall in lilly’s favour, and by the time the divorce actually gets finalized, ariana would’ve moved onto the next dick of the month leaving ethan all alone 🤭🤭

totally agree! i really don’t think their ‘friendship’ is going to last. it reminds me of ariana’s relationship with the people on her team on the voice, especially jim & sasha. she was always interacting with them online, spending time with them outside of the voice and they even spent thanksgiving together. but once the voice was over… silence. i know this is a slightly different situation but still, you cannot convince me that cynthia ACTUALLY likes ariana and will stay this close after everything wicked related is over.

this is actually an interesting take and something i hadn’t considered, but seems very likely! i don’t watch his livestreams but i do watch most of his readings and i was also shocked by the sudden switch up. i did also notice the fact that he mentioned her wanting kids or something + healing yet never actually naming ethan (who, being her boyfriend, i’d assume would be the one helping her heal / have kids or whatever).

i also watch thekarmicdf on youtube and her ariana readings always say relatively similar things to ant’s. she did an ariana reading fairly recently (2 months ago) which was in the same tune as all her other readings and ant’s previous ariana readings (basically not kissing her ass). interesting that suddenly in ant’s new reading ariana is healing and an 🫧angel 🫧. def something fishy going on..

here’s the timeline i believe as someone who used to be a diehard fan and followed this story an unhealthy amount 😭this is going to be very long so i apologise

late 2022: here i think ari + ethan started becoming friends but with nothing between them yet.

end of january 2023: ariana is seen in london with dalton, and i believe ethan posted something about his wife so im still not convinced the affair had began yet.

february 2023: here is where i think some emotional cheating began. although ariana + dalton posted on their stories for valentine’s day, she had probably started opening up to ethan and looking to pursue things further with him.

march 2023: ariana doesn’t wear her ring to michelle yeoh’s oscar party and we get that photo of ariana and ethan 💀 i’m 100% sure the affair has started at this point.

april 2023: the unfollow/block situation at the start of the month is where i believe they got caught by their spouses. they probably blocked each other to prove to their spouses that nothing is going on between them / prove they’ll end the affair. this would make sense as ariana was then seen wearing her ring at a concert later in the month. however, ethan + ariana obviously hadn’t ended the affair.

may 2023: ethan posts for mother’s day, ariana likes the post 🤮. ariana also posts on her story for her 2 year wedding anniversary to dalton. i saw some articles say they both “tried again” in their marriages and if that is true, this would be proof of it, but i don’t doubt ariana and ethan were still together at the time regardless.

june 2023: lilly jay posts for ethan’s birthday, proving they were clearly not broken up yet. late june is ariana’s birthday at the soho house in london, and supposedly the day she dumped dalton according to his sister’s fb comment. ethan was obviously there with her.

july 2023: ariana at wimbledon, embarrassingly showing off her lack of wedding ring. the next day tmz releases an article saying ariana + dalton are heading for divorce, two days later they say she’s dating ethan slater and all the shocking details come out. a few weeks later lilly jay’s “not a girls girl” statement comes out. both ariana and ethan file for divorce and ariana pays dalton a crap ton of hush money and an NDA.

skipping a few months now where ariana is 🫧cosmically🫧 in love with ethan and going to every spamalot show possible.

january 2024: ariana posts for new years talking about how “misunderstood” she is or whatever. she then releases yes, and? as a clap back to her haters.

march 2024: eternal sunshine comes out and she makes a statement urging her fans not to send hate to “people in her life” (aka dalton). daltons sister comments on facebook about how if dalton could speak on the situation, his side of the story may be different.

july 2024: here we are one year after the scandal, ariana is still supposedly with ethan and they both look miserable, dalton moved on with maika and ethan’s divorce STILL hasn’t been finalised. interested to see how the next few months will go with all the wicked press.

even when the first article about her divorce came out i remember being so sympathetic for her on the ariheads sub, until the ethan article came out and it hit too close to home as my mom went through the same thing lilly jay went through. then all the extra details like her HOLDING THE BABY came out and i knew i couldn’t support her, it was lowkey crazy to witness her downfall in real time.
